After WikiLeaks' unauthorized release of a quarter of a million State Department documents Sunday, Rep. Peter King (R-Seaford) called for the Swedish website to be designated a "foreign terrorist organization" and its founder Julian Assange to be charged as a spy.

"WikiLeaks presents a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States," he wrote Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

"I strongly urge you to work within the administration to use every offensive capability of the U.S. government to prevent further damaging releases by WikiLeaks," said King in the letter he made public Sunday.

Julian Assange broke our laws. It doesn’t matter what his intentions were. He had no right to obtain and release illegally acquired information. That’s the bottom line with the Wikileaks outfit. Its a criminal enterprise.

Severely sanction the country. Also, the CIA is weapons-free after 9/11 (or was anyway).

Take him out.

So are we going to sanction Sweden or Britain for hosting him?

Start by sanctioning Sweden, which hosted the website. These leftists are out to harm our country and must be stopped - and go after the countries which allow them to break our laws and jeopardize our national security.

Ask the Iranians. The black hats can take down just about any server anywhere. It just takes a phone call from the Oval Office - maybe not even that.

If our national security is not that important to us, we might as well give Assange the key to our entire classified database.

What about all of the federal IT and security idiots that let this 22 year old gay in the military PFC gain access to this info, and let him copy it without it being detected?

Or are they going to get away scott free?

Just make it known that the Wikileaks server is also hosting a torrent for the latest Harry Potter movie. It will be shut down in a matter of hours.

First, you need to know who is doing the leaking and stop it at the source.Secondly, wait until Julian Assange leaves his country and have him arrested in a country that would have the greatest chance to extrading him to the U.S.

Well... its very difficult to stop someone from copying to a usb disk drive. As they learned in Israel, you would have to hard lock computers to make sure there is no unauthorized access to them. That means no one can access them without special clearance. A lot more needs to be done to prevent data theft in the future.

... and Obama is sitting back laughing as someone else hits the patented “reset” button , thereby leveling the playing field (as per BO un-official executive order). The anti American conspiracy continues.
