PITTSBURGH (KDKA) Passengers may be unhappy over long lines and enhanced security at the airports, but its a feeling shared by many at TSA.
Theres a lot more tension both by officers, fellow officers, and passengers, one Pittsburgh TSA officer told KDKAs Jon Delano in an exclusive interview.
TSA officers dont like the new aggressive pat-downs of passengers either.
I truly feel that it is morally and ethically wrong to do it, the agent noted. This does not make flying safer. Its just taking away American citizens rights. And all the horror stories at other airports only make things worse.
Everybody shudders when they hear that because they know that is not what were supposed to be doing, the agent said.
Agreed.
I fear the erosion of the Constitution more than I will ever fear any terrorist. Terrorists may kill a few... those who take our freedoms get us ALL.
Welcome to FR.
It’s that or Love Field! I usually ride SWA and avoid DFW - and the chronic Delta/American “difficulties”.
Yeah, Love Field is a welcome alternative.
Incoming International post Customs TSA checkpoint, sure looks like Idi’s kin and about same attitude. “Get in line CRACKER”!
Wonder if he was or will be fired.
Since they have yet to catch a terrorist maybe they should reevaluate what they are doing.
Thanks for the chuckle!
Then where is the spine of the TSA Agents? Why are they not en masse saying this is wrong? Talk is cheap.
Just like the Air Marshals complaining they have to dress in Business Formal even on holidays where they stick out like a sore thumb !
> I really think dissent in the ranks would bring about change faster than us peons complaining.
What Good Can a Handgun Do Against An Army?

Indeed.
They should be dressed casually.
“Quitting is for losers”
Sorry I’m not buying it. When your employer asks you to commit crimes on the job, you quit. You don’t commit the crimes and “blow the whistle”.
“Then quit and go work at home depot”
An inside man is worth 10 outside men.
Some TSA gropers may be temporarily experiencing some pangs of conscience while they conduct pre-detention-style searches of air passengers. Something seems awry when the TSA orders that every air passenger be treated as a potential terrorist. Perhaps a few are even aware that the 4th Amendment prohibits unreasonable searches, and that no reasonable human being would suspect an elderly, native-born nun or a crippled, native-born child of being a terrorist.
Ever hear of the Milgram Experiment?
The pangs of conscience will dissipate as the TSA gropers learn to rationalize that, since they are merely agents for a recognized authority (US TSA), they bear no moral responsibility for what they do. They’re just following orders.
“If you went through the airport to get on a plane. Could you do a citizens arrest? You refuse the scanner and refuse the molestation and they insist on it. Or do they not insist, hold you, which wouldnt that be holding you prisoner, thats also against the law....hmmmm.”
Hmmmm ... sounds like a great way to get tasered, spend the night in jail, and get fined $11000.
I’d do a lot of things to keep shelter over my family’s head and food on the table but rubbing another man’s testicles in a security line ain’t one of them.
Remember how many conservatives were perfectly down with the Patriot Act?
