One exception is Country music, which is still resistant to influence from the left. Consequently, I now prefer that genre over any other.

Just incidentally, recent discovery on my part, here's a fine group that's doing something new and amazing in the jazz genre:

Although I also have listened to a lot more country in my adult years. (And bluegrass and other folks musics to the extent non-communist contaminated.) In part because, although I don't get out so much anymore, my favorite adult beverage serving establishment of many years is a roots music venue:
