The Obama administration said Wednesday it has alerted Congress and begun notifying foreign governments that the WikiLeaks website is preparing to release sensitive U.S. diplomatic files that could damage U.S. relations with friends and allies.
Officials said the documents may contain everything from accounts of compromising conversations with political dissidents and friendly politicians to disclosures of activities that could result in the expulsion of U.S. diplomats from foreign postings.

“should be interesting”
For sure!
...damage our relations?
You mean, worse than we already are?
We just don’t know the meaning of “rock bottom” anymore.
Right. Quite telling, isn’t it?
I wonder who, with access to State Department data, would want this type of thing released? Anyone?
Yeah, evidently we’re not yet at rock bottom with this clown.
But, then he added that on the plus side, it would improve U.S. relations with Cuba, Iran, China and North Korea.
These are ‘your kinda folks’, Zero. You know. R-E-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N-A-R-I-E-S? Don’t diddle on our legs and tell us there’s precipitation in the forecast.
Getting this out through his pet paper on Thanksgiving Eve is another sign Obama is worried about the release.
Or Open Societies, like that George Soros feller claims to do? This is a lot bigger than some homo Army specialist.
“The group bills itself as a website devoted to reforming governments worldwide by exposing their secrets, and its motto on its Twitter site is “We open governments.”
Another recent posting said: “The coming months will see a new world, where global history is redefined.”

OK. Did I miss something? I haven’t seen any big release of Russian, Chinese, Iranian, Japenese, EU, British, Lithuanian, Polish, Czech, Malaysian, Phillipino, Italian, Irish or FRENCH secrets.
Hmmm—mmm- smells to me that not only our government but our military has been corrupted.
Execute the leakers.
The whole story smells of blackmail. First, military docs from field soldiers in Afghanistan (mostly in the 2001 to 2007 timeframe) were leaked illegally.
That set the stage, letting the White House know that the blackmailers had the goods.
Intriguingly-enough, this appears to be a rare case of 0bama not caving to outside pressure...alas, Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is still the law of the land.
Now, State Department cables from the 0bama Administration are being leaked. They will reveal 0bama’s duplicity to our allies and enemies alike.
It is an odd state of affairs. A Lefty is attacking 0bama.
Let's hope Barry resigns as a result.
I suspicion he not only endorses it - but orchestrated it.
Another notch in his ‘destroy America’ campaign
And of course, aside form informing Congress of the damage potential, the most powerful man in the world is doing nothing to block the release of this information to prevent the damage.
Amazing, this President cannot or will not even keep some Internet weenie operating in plain sight from posting STOLEN secret US Government property on the Internet.
Obama lets the Wiki Weenie punk him. The same weenie made noises that he was going to do the same to the Russians. The mere suggestion from Putin that this might be unwise and could potentially have negative health consequences for those responsible put a quick stop to that plan. Amazing how as little as a stern look and veiled public threat from Putin caused these wimps to piddle in their pants and immediately back track on any plans to expose and Russian secrets
All Obama has to do is imply that those responsible could be prosecuted would shut this down but Obama and Holder do nothing to prevent the disclosure of massive quantities of stolen secret information that will seriously damage the national security of the United States.
Obama is complicit in this exposure of American secrets by his lack of any attempt to block the disclosure of these stolen secrets despite the fact that he easily could by any number of means. Wonder what Terry Pollard thinks about this as he serves his life sentence for disclosing much less to a friendly government.
What ever became of this? Did I miss something?

There was a day when the CIA would go in and put a stop to this kind of thing, and even send flowers to the funeral.
