“Sarah Palin needs to watch what she say’s.” (sic)
You mean ‘says’. But you’re right. Sarah Palin will be held to the Dan Quayle standard and not the barack obummer standard.
In her defense, she and the commentator said North Korea, 3 times before she made the mistake.
But hey the liberal wacko propagandists can just chalk it up to her being from the 57th state - a way out in the tundra.
Speaking of the Dan Quayle standard, I want to deal with one of those criticisms in the original article that's fallen by the wayside: the claim that Sarah Palin didn't know how the Federal Reserve Sysytem worked back in '08.
...James Tobin, one of the foremost economists advising John Kennedy on how to project his profiles of economic omniscience, has revealed that on Inauguration Day the newly elected president needed tutoring on the workings of the Federal Reserve, presumably so he could better plan our vastly complex world economy.
Granted that 2010 is not 1961, but John F. Kennedy made it all the way to the White House without knowing how the Fed works.
But, of course, there's that old Dan Quayle standard. "Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy, I knew Jack Kennedy, Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy." (Lloyd Bensen, 1988.)
(The quoted tidbit comes from Jack D. Douglas, The Myth of the Welfare State.)
