Video: Obama outlines moral, philosophical reasons for pardoning turkey

To cleanse the palate, a dollop of distressingly plausible holiday-themed satire. This is coming from the Onion, so naturally the joke is ultimately flattering to President Spock: He’s so darned thoughtful and conscientious that not even the most minor decision escapes his intellect’s penetrating stare. Even so, don’t let that deter you. The photoshops are worth it, especially the one of The One questioning his victim. Unfortunately, the clip leaves out the inevitable conclusion: Obama announces his plan, the public sees that it’s terrible and opposes it overwhelmingly, then Obama spends the rest of his presidency lamenting mistakes he made with his turkey “messaging.”

0bama is incapable of outlining a philosophical argument without a teleprompter.

I won’t watch this video, but let me guess: “I am a turkey, and Turkey is a nation of mmose limbs, therefor I am pardoning this bird because he is my homey and to honor that great islamic state - and I encourage all people to enjoy hahlil certified moose meat this Thanksgiving at islamic centers and other religious places where hands are cut off and people are stoned.”

That was funny...up to and including the bizarre teaser at the end announcing the invention of “a tracking device that can track every movement of a sex offender’s pelvis.”

Thanks for posting! Some funny remarks on the site:
“Can a turkey pardon another turkey?”
“America has sometimes been arrogant, dissmissive, and derisive to the rights of the feathered community.
“The biggest difference between this turkey and Obama, is that the turkey doesn’t need a teleprompter…”
“So he’s already pardoning people in his administration?”

Just added to my list of jobs that really stink: 3rd and 4th turkeys from the presidential poultry list. Numbers 1 and 2 are always pardoned, promoting 3 & 4 to be the dinner.

Just for once I would like to see a president say "Turkeys will die for my dinner this week. I see nothing special about these so I will not issue a pardon. No one asked me to pardon the cow which became my reuben sandwich for lunch, nor should they have. Now don't bother me with this silliness while I am president."
