By law the EPA cannot regulate anything hunting or fishing. Idiots.

...which the groups say kills 10 million to 20 million birds and other animals a year by lead poisoning... They probably count game animals struck and killed by lead bullets and shot as having died of "lead poisoning".
...and I suppose in a WAY it's true...

It makes sense that a lot of liberals are gay, because they are always looking for a backdoor way to screw with normal people.

The EPA was created in 1970, during the adminstration of WHAT U.S. president?
Anyone?
Anyone?

PROVE IT! The EPA found no such thing when they decided they were NOT going to ban lead.
So come on big mouths...PROVE your ridiculous claims.

It comes after the EPA denied their petition to ban lead ammunition and lead fishing tackle, which the groups say kills 10 million to 20 million birds and other animals a year by lead poisoning. Who counted them? How many birds are killed by wind mills generating power? Trillions, no doubt. Maybe more.

And to think some of us kooks out on the right-wing fringe thought the EPA was just another tool to subjugate the American slaves and should be abolished.
I guess that’s just a crazy conspiracy theory.

We need to treat this like Global Warming. Where's the science on lead poisoning?
My understanding is that even with children ingesting it lead poisoning is rare and was falling. The little damage done isn't measurable from ingestion, but the EPA cut the acceptable rate in half thus reviving lead poisoning as an issue for children.
the groups say kills 10 million to 20 million birds and other animals a year by lead poisoning.
This is sheer invention and unprovable. Let's kill them with science, aka the search for truth.

Notice the propaganda try to make the EPA look centrist just as pathetic as trying to make this president centrist.
Propaganda bs alert!!

If ANY excessive lead poisoning is needed, it’s the Enviro-Wacko’s and the EPA that should suffer it.

Here's all I could find on the real risks of lead poisoning from HHS's Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality:
http://www.ahrq.gov/clinic/pocketgd1011/gcp10s3.htm#lead
From the site:
Screening for Elevated Blood Lead Levels in Children and Pregnant Women Summary of Recommendations
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) concludes that evidence is insufficient to recommend for or against routine screening for elevated blood lead levels in asymptomatic children aged 1 to 5 who are at increased risk. Grade: I Statement.
The USPSTF recommends against routine screening for elevated blood lead levels in asymptomatic children aged 1 to 5 years who are at average risk. Grade: D Recommendation.
The USPSTF recommends against routine screening for elevated blood lead levels in asymptomatic pregnant women. Grade: D Recommendation.
That's it from that site. Not very scary at all.

My question...Why is lead even allowed??
