Those Saying U.S. on Wrong Track Hits High Under Obama of 69%
UTICA, New York - President Barack Obama's job approval rating has dropped to the lowest point of his Presidency at 39%, and in potential match-ups with Republicans in 2012, he trails Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush and Newt Gingrich and is just one point ahead of Sarah Palin.
The percentage of likely voters saying the U.S. is on the wrong track is now the highest since Obama took office at 69%.

Indeed. Somebody orchestrated all these recent polls to frame “the debate within the GOP primary.”
Sadly, many conservatives are also gullible to believe in such poll.
I think this TSA thing is hurting him with many libs as well. There were two posters the other evening who stated they’d been over to DU and he was really getting slapped around over that issue.

I don’t trust anything that Zogby puts out. I think this is a setup to make sure that it shows that Romney could beat Obama right now. The media has to have Romney win in order for Obama to get a 2nd term.

CHRIS MATTHEWS, HOST: Well, to reach back to one of our heroes from the past, from the `60s, Saul Alinsky once said that even though both sides have flaws in their arguments and you can always find something nuanced about your own side you don`t like and it`s never perfect, you have to act in the end like there`s simple black and white clarity between your side and the other side or you don`t get anything done. Insofar as there is anything in this poll, many Democrats are angry with Obama because he is failing to do all the things they want. Gay marriage, gays in the military, pull out of Afghanistan yesterday, higher medicare benefits, higher taxes on everyone but themselves, and so forth.
These people are angry, but they certainly won’t go to the polls and vote for Republicans.
That also helps explain why Sarah polls so low. Leftist Dems angry with Obama for not doing enough certainly won’t vote for Sarah. The other factor is that Zogby, like just about everyone else who is in politics for the business, fears Sarah and wants to weaken her.
Most people who call themselves “independents” don’t really follow this stuff the way you and I do. Of course, Hillary is a radical leftist and is just as determined to destroy this country as Obama is. How in the world can someone vote for Carter, then Reagan. Bush, then Willie. Willie, then Bush. A LOT OF SO CALLED MODERATES DO THIS EVERY ELECTION. They are the ones I worry about. They can be snookered by the “HILLARY! is a moderate” crap.
