Tonight is the final chance for the three remaining contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" to impress the viewers at home.
As we've seen this season in particular, high scores from the judges may be nice. But, it's the viewers who matter because their votes can make an impact.
Going into tonight's season finale are Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey & Bristol Palin.
Getting to this point wasn't always a smooth trip. There were some tense moments at the production office for "Dancing With the Stars."
ABC says a white powder in an envelope was delivered to the office this past Friday. It turned out to be talcum powder.
But, before they knew that, hazardous materials officials with the city of Los Angeles, fire department, police and FBI arrived at the studio lot where the ABC show airs.
This comes just days after the shock that viewers have put low-scorer Bristol Palin in the finals of "Dancing With the Stars," while voting off Brandy, who's had some of the highest scores from the judges.
Watch tonight's show at 8 p.m. and the results show Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

She ended with grace & charm..
I of course was disappointed how the event ended. I think it would have been impt to share the actual voting with the various ways votes were tabulated(how many text, call, email etc)
Do I think deceit? But of course.
Re: Jennifer. I think she is a very talented dancer. Think both Kyle & Bristol did the amazing in improvement (and isn’t this what this show is about?)
Part of me can’t help but think of “image” and that the show wanted to have a sleek winner.. Both Kyle & Bri are “fluffy”. And of course the political ramifications.
I think Jennifer said she had a herniated disk (not ruptured, which is much more severe).. I have had the herniation & other back issues. I have a hard time just getting around, yet along doing demanding dancing. Perhaps she was shot up with cortisone etc.
Was she lying? who knows, most of us here have our doubts about the veracity of her claims & are aware of her wanting the sympathy nod. Can you imagine being married to her if that is her regular MO?
I thought all three couples had good performances last night. It was actually the first show I had watched. A few weeks ago watched about 25 min. I didn’t realize I could not vote last night..Dang. I regret not being in an geographic area with access to means to participate on Monday.
Thanks for the thread each week Dr. S & to all for the input. It is unfortunate that some felt it necessary to come & stir up ill will this last week. Live & let live seems to not be part of their mentality & an aire of faux superiority was a little too thick and pretty sad.
On a "We mus all adore the Palin's" thread you speak blasphemy.
Don't you just love the, well..., love on this thread?
You’re welcome! The finalists are being flown by ABC to NY to make tv appearances.
You're welcome, Dolly. A lot of us wanted to get together and support Bristol on DWTS. It was as simple as that, and a handful of disruptors kept clicking on the thread.
You’re welcome, and you’re so right about Bristol and her mother!
A lot of people were wondering the same thing.
Of course, Patrick Swayze's own words must be a lie, too?
Swayze was also very complimentary of his co-star, Jennifer Grey. "When Jennifer and I did our screen test together, a real chemistry and a real heat happened," he said. "Jennifer has as much natural talent as any young woman I've ever seen." From here....
You’re welcome! It was a pleasant diversion to escape the election drama for a few hours every week...and to see Bristol improve each time.
You’re welcome! I enjoyed it too!
Just goes to show ya, extreme we just might be. The blindness to what is fair and true, and acting like the enemy is really quite repulsive. I wasn’t going to read these responses, but you give me hope.
2ndDivisionVet, I still support Sarah Palin, but like she said, if someone better steps up to the plate, she would do what is best for the nation (like she did what is best for Alaska when she resigned because of financial overload to their economy), and I, too, will decide who I think is best. Not because they have a great personality, but because they actually will be the best in a nation and a world upon the brink of chaos and turmoil.
I tried signing on the website at 9:10pm and could not get through. It wouldn't even let me sign on.
The first 3 or so seasons I used to read their forum and there were a LOT of complaints about people not being able to vote. This really isn't anything new for them.
Why do you parse words?
I never said she wasn't talented. I said she complains a lot!
oops..not that he didn’t like her.......they didn’t get along. sorry
I was not on the thread until after the show was over so I hadn't even seen everyone else's comments about it.
Actually I saw the interview. The reason the "didn't get along" was because he was all work and no play and she wanted to have some fun doing the movie. Swayze, by his own account, was a perfectionist and she was an untrained dancer. That was the story behind the friction. He was pissed at her because there were times she didn't take it as seriously as him.
"We did have a few moments of friction when we were tired or after a long day of shooting. [Grey] seemed particularly emotional, sometimes bursting into tears if someone criticized her," he writes in his Atria-published memoir. "Other times, she slipped into silly moods, forcing us to do scenes over and over again when she'd start laughing."
Not sure what your point is. But, that's what I said he said.
Oh, look. Then there is this part:
But Swayze - like the nice guy he really was - forgave the actress for her annoying tics, saying she still did a "truly phenomenal job" and that "in many ways, she made the movie."
Yep, despised her to the end. NOT! Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2009/09/24/2009-09-24_patrick_swayze_memoir_recalls_jennifer_grey_as_a_pain_on_set_of_dirty_dancing.html#ixzz16CwKgGgp
thanks for clarification
so, she is full of “it” huh?
lol
I wonder how many of the people criticizing you for supporting Bristol will be parked in front of their televisions Saturday supporting their favorite college football team...
It's their show, so why not.
I can't believe Gray was so serious about this. Maybe it was to have a brief moment of fame again.
With her neck in such a precarious situation it is scary she opted to participate at all.
Would have been no fun if the plate failed and she got paralyzed right there in front of national TV IMO.
I also can't stand the few liberals making so many nasty comments and threats. Why?
I hope their families enjoy the same treatment by their neighbors. What stupidity!
