Don't like it?
Leave.
Since you aren't Jim Robinson, your comment is irrelevant. I can post my opinion in this thread as any other member can, subject to the terms of FR which are set by Mr. Robinson... not you.

Free Republic is Palin Country. Get used it.
And at one time, it was Bush Country. And while that was better than the alternative at the time, it left a sour aftertaste in the mouths of many here. I'm not looking forward to another bad aftertaste.
You, like many here, don't speak for the whole of FR. There are many on FR like myself who like Sarah, but don't think she would be a wise choice as a presidential candidate for 2012.

And you are on this thread because?
Because I'm interested in conservatives winning big in 2012, not losing. While I truly do like Sarah, I don't think she can pull off a win for the Oval Office.

Palin will win the nomination and she will win the Presidency.
Madame President
A cheery outcome, but realistically, it's not likely.

Sounds like the same nonsense I heard back in 1978/79 about somebody........
Sarah is no Ronald Reagan and Reagan didn't carry all the baggage that Sarah has. I know that the leftist media slandered her and painted her in mud, but to the general populous, the mud is still there and it'll still be there in 2012.

Call it what you want, but it's a realistic view. It's time for you to wake up.

Maybe she's "damaged goods" to left-wingers, Obots, misogynists, RINOs, gov't union workers, Democrats, journOlists, and America's enemies, but every normal American thinks the world of her.
Which one are you?
I'm none of the above. I'm a solid conservative that doesn't wear rose-colored glasses. And while many normal Americans like her (as do I), I would say that most wouldn't give her a vote to be President. I'll re-visit this thread again in 2012 to say, "I told ya so".

How about YOU take your I like her, but T-shirt and hit the road.
Dont watch it and dont read Palin threads if you dislike her so much.
Where did I say that I dislike her? Really... put down the weed or that can of Bud and read the screen with both bloodshot eyes.

I could not disagree with you more.
At that rate, I can see a split conservative vote while another freaking Democrap takes the win in 2012. Good job.

Youve been standing to close to all those Illinois demoncraps, some of their hateful BS has rubbed off.
Another person who reads words that aren't there. I don't see anything hateful in what I wrote. Perhaps it was to your disliking (as reality often is to many) and you see it as "hateful". That's a leftist tactic. Where did you learn that from?

She is damaged goods? Damaged by whom? Youre going to let them get away with this? Where is your backbone????? Youll only vote for the liberal approved conservative????
They lied about her, edited 9 hours of tape to make her look stupid. She has more guts in her little finger than people who hide their heads in the sand.
I know that the leftist media distorted her image and frankly, she didn't help herself with some verbal gaffes and not completing her term as Governor so she could go running with McPain (that alone is enough for me to seriously question her better judgment). But you'll have to convince the larger general populous who's IQ is roughly about their average shoe size, too bogged down with reality TV and their Iphones, to know anything about Palin aside from what they see on the news flashes between their Yahoo logins.
Some stains are not easily removed and all the TV appearances won't help much.
Much like the "global warming" doomsayers that used to proliferate FR (whom I battled with on a regular basis), I won't jump on this bandwagon of false hope either.
ENOUGH with Sarah Palin and all the prep to make her look good for a run in 2012. I like her, but shes damaged goods and nothing is going to change that. If she runs in 2012, its a sure loss. Dont waste the time.
To which I replied, "Oh good! A dark cloud!"
Obviously, you have no sense of humor.
Well, I’ll give you points for taking the time to input all that HTML. That alone is worth at least one snap. LOL
Here’s a fact for you. Gov Palin consistently leads the pack of Republican hopefuls in polls of likely Republican voters, and her numbers are steadily improving among Independents.
Prior to the 2012 primary vote, polling by reliable pollsters is the only objective measure we have of her real support. Every other indicator is subjective or speculative in nature, and can be spun in a variety of ways to bolster one’s position.
The players in the big leagues live and die by accurate polling data. You will not see a Palin candidacy unless the numbers look favorable to her and her advisors, no matter what we here think.
My belief is that she will run for office, because the numbers show that she can win. That’s what the current numbers show.
If you’ve got a better way to forecast the near term future, you be sure to let me know.
You.
