Let each private airline do it's own security and people will choose the best one or the one right for them. You know what that's called , THE FREE MARKET, FREEDOM.
What ALL of you are advocating is more government. The only thing you disagree with the government is on the methods that “We” or government is doing it. BS . government never works. Government should not be doing this nor most of the other things it is messing up. Let capitalism , the free market do it and leave capitalism alone, NOW, you statists one and all , you socialists.
Each airline must be allowed FREEDOm to do what it wants to with it's PRIVATE property and get government out of it , abolish the TSA, EPA ,FCC etc..Are you going to abolish the FAA too? Lets see, how many times have you trusted your life to an airline whose aircraft are maintained by 3rd world (lack of) standards? Its time to shake the anarchist dust off our heels and realize that all the best institutions, the services, the advances in science and technology which constitute the light of Civilization as we know it the were made possible by the organization or resource, as the result the Nation State and not a bunch of libertarian pipe dreamers. The problem with TSA is not the security apparatus or the powers it is imbued with, but the fact the we refuse to behave as a Nation State, we are trying to behave as a postmodern post-empire with a diluted national identity and that clearly does not work. Read "The Clash of Civilizations" and "Who Are We" by the late S.P. Huntington. If we were to behave as a Nation State, we would stop submitting to every ridiculous demand for diversity and political correctness issuing from minority groups and would instead apply assimilating pressure to those groups. We would stop trying to reconcile non-complimentary cultures into the fabric or our society and instead assert our own American exceptionalism. You can be a part of America as long as you can (and show that you do) fit in and assimilate into our culture and values. Fix the postmodern schizophrenia of the national psyche and everything else will right itself out.
