Emannuel may be the least bad option in this race. He’s a jerk, and a bully, true. But Mosely-Braun is hopelessly corrupt and Danny Davis is both hopelessly corrupt and a looney bird. Don’t know much about the other candidates, but it seems likely they’re all no-hopers.
Sometimes one has to reach bottom for any new growth to occur. In the case of Chicago the bottom is now in sight so we should be optimistic.
