The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is warning that any would-be commercial airline passenger who enters an airport checkpoint and then refuses to undergo the method of inspection designated by TSA will not be allowed to fly and also will not be permitted to simply leave the airport.
That person will have to remain on the premises to be questioned by the TSA and possibly by local law enforcement. Anyone refusing faces fines up to $11,000 and possible arrest.
"Once a person submits to the screening process, they can not just decide to leave that process," says Sari Koshetz, regional TSA spokesperson, based in Miami.

Nee, has Nappy Politano given us her decision on scanning, patting down Muslim women yet?
What good little sheeple you are......
Thanks for taking a bullet for the team. (Did you shower before coming back?)
They didn’t have the nude-o-scopes yet when Bush was in office, but Bush’s Homeland Security director, Michael Chertoff, is the major force behind the installation of these infernal contraptions. He (Chertoff) is also profiting from them.
There were pat downs, groping, secondary searches at the gate, threat of $10,000 fines, breast patdowns, unzipping of pants, occasional hand down the front of your pants, etc. when Bush was president. He couldn’t have cared less, and he had no interest in profiling Muslims, “the religion of peace.” Don’t even get me started about his failure to control our southern border.
The situation at the airport has been awful for over 9 years. It coming to a head now because of (1) the rapid appearance of the naked scanners in more and and more airports and (2) the start, on October 29th, of more agressive (and front of the hand) patdowns.
By the way, the photo of the nun being patted down by the Muslim female TSA screener....it happened during the Bush era. It’s an older image that has been making the rounds for quite some time. The white shirt worn by the screener is a dead giveaway; the TSA has been wearing wearing royal blue shirts for a while.
So, in order to avoid prison, I guess I'll be grounded for a while.
Speak for yourself. It will be a cold day in hell before I fly commercial again. I can manage just fine by boat, driving or flying with my son or friends in their planes.
You can get asked that much in a routine traffic stop, and the police are all offended if you don't answer.
You aren’t alone. From the looks of most TSA personnel I do not have much faith in their ability to follow proper protocol in universal procedures. Are the screeners washing their hands between pat downs? If they are touching the genitals of people how many std’s are they spreading?
ANFW would I fly right now.
The Feds expect an underwear-type bomber in the (very) near future, I’d wager.
Say no to them and stop traveling. Just for one week and see what happens. Hit their pocket books and things will change. We are letting the terrorists run our lives. We need to stand up and no more. It’s over or it’s going to be over, one way or another. I believe that is one reason we need someone like Mike Pence in the White House.
BUT
Remember that CAIR suggested that moslem women ALSO request a private room for the pat down (however it is being administered to them) and if they are being patted down behind closed doors, how will everyone else in line know how they were searched-the same way THEY would be, or the CAIR approved search?
The only real way this will be answered (if most moslem women pulled aside take the private room option (which option is for now offered to all travelers who request it)is for
A disgruntled TSA agent (s) to publicly post what orders s/he was given re: women in moselm garb
OR
Non moslem women put on moslem garb and post publicly what happened if they were singled out for a search.
This latter would be effective IF done on a large enough scale : If none of the women are ever pulled aside, we would have our answer by that alone.
“I checked out DU last night and they are as pissed about this as we are. So Obongo and his thugs dont have anyone on their side on this matter.”
Even a stopped clock....
They are pi$$ed. This can only be good news.

Does Big Groping Sister Janet know that many of those children are under the age of consent to have a TSA agent to touch their private parts ?
How about ? $ 50,000 fine, felony charges, and child abuse charges and arrest of any TSA agents who touch any children under the age of consent ?

Call your County Sheriff, DA, Grand Jury Foreman and Police Chief and demand that BO’s TSA Pervert Thugs be arrested for assault.

This isn’t America anymore. I’m so disgusted.
Make sure it's wrapped in foil. Lotsa laffs.
...yet.
Watch how fast Obama's beloved railway system gets funded now at the applause of the rail unions.
What makes you think they wouldn't blow whatever device on them right at the screening area? Why go for the lobby, when they can trash the metal detectors and other geat--and TSA people as well as 'fellow' travellers?
The rule is nonsense, but it is designed to intimidate the public into submission. After all, people endure roadside checkpoints 'for their safety' because someone else on the highway might have had a beer too many.
We have become a nation of cowardly sheep.
They who will sacrifice essential liberty for safety will find neither.
*** has Nappy Politano given us her decision on scanning, patting down Muslim women yet? ***
I don’t know - I was just reading an article where she was saying that it would be wrong to pat down muslim women as it would keep them from flying. She is considering letting them pat themselves down. Seriously.
Down is up and up is down.
