When I drive to Colorado, I have a Culver’s to stop at in Iowa, and if I am really desperate, there is one in Colorado Springs when I get to my destination.
I don’t know what the secret ingredient is for their burgers, but it is sooooooooooo good.
Recently I have been getting a salad there that I like. It is the grilled chicken, dried cranberry, bleu cheese and bacon,on a bed of nice salad greens. By the time I add bleu cheese dressing it most likely isn’t very low cal at all. But it is tasty.
When it’s available I love the walleye they serve.
I should have bought stock in the company when it started in Prairie Du Sac - Sauk City all those years ago.
Word of warning FYI = Their food is shipped in refers pre-cooked and then MICROWAVED/reheated to order!
Their "food" = dreck
It’s only $28-32 for lunch depending on the location compared to about $50 for dinner. Same menu.
Every meat lover should eat there at least once per year. Given the quality and amount of food, it’s a bargain if you don’t order alcohol.
A better brand of beef makes a butter burger better. LOL.
Too much bun, imho.
And it's not just any steak. While there are at least six other steak choices, all you can eat filet mignon and bacon wrapped filet mignon are two of my favorites. The marinated chicken legs are incredible !
On the expensive part, always go at lunch. Exactly the same food for less.
For the meat challenged (or guilty), they have a superb (best I've seen) salad bar.
Fried belly clams, lobster rolls, steamers, lobsters, fried haddock, served with cole slaw, and french fries and onion rings.
Gut busting ecstasy!
maple flavored bacon...even better!
