People from CAP are wacked-out left-wing nuts. When they show up (frequently) on CNBC I hit the mute button immediately before they start driving me crazy with their foolish extreme left-wing rants.

Obama is getting pressured from Soros / Podesta, unions, van jones, amnesty pushers. I can see why he wants to be out of the country. The new congress will be investigating soon, this window of time may be viewed as their opportunity. Especially with Pelosi/Reid still in place.

Glenn Beck believes these statements are being made publicly to rally the radical left and union powers into action.

Beck was right about this one thing: The communists have taken the masques off and are showing their faces. Never forget the video from the guy who infiltrated the Weather Underground. These well-educated people calmly discussed the extermination of 1/4 of the US population.

Obviously these scum never read this..

Posse Commitatus

The Posse Commitatus Act, while advisory and customary, is not equivalent to the Constitutional guarantee of border security to the several States. Further, the protections offered by Posse Commitatus, supposedly precluding the use of military force within the US are at best, illusory. I point you to USC Title X, Section 333:

The President, by using the militia or the armed forces, or both, or by any other means, shall take such measures as he considers necessary to suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy, if it—

(1) so hinders the execution of the laws of that State, and of the United States within the State, that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law, and the constituted authorities of that State are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity, or to give that protection; or

(2) opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.

To employ the military requires that Congress (House and Senate) set asside temporaily for a specified limited period of time the restrictions impossed on the government by the Posse Commitatus Act.

As if the military would go along with that crap. A slim minority would, the rest would not. Podesta and Soros can dream on. CWII would happen.

Podesta, or Skippy as the case may be, will wield enormous power in Obamaworld.

He had a key role in introducing Executive Order 12958 which led to an unprecedented effort to declassify millions of pages from the U.S. diplomatic and national security history and also oversaw Clinton's pardons in the last days of his administration including the fugitive financiar, Marc Rich, who in 1983, was indicted for evading more than $48 million in taxes, and charged with 51 counts of tax fraud, as well as running illegal oil deals with Iran during the 1979-1980 hostage crisis.

******

John Podesta started a think tank, and his brother, Tony, helped found the lobbying and public relations firm PodestaMattoon.

The working name for Podesta's new shop is 1001 Strategies , designed to reflect its innovative thinking, as well as its address -- 1001 G St. NW.

Among those probably remaining with Podesta (lobbying firm)include Amgen Inc., Genentech Inc., Lockheed Martin Corp. and The Washington Post Co.

The firm says the first six months of the year brought in $5.92 million for lobbying

******

Tony Podesta's wife, Heather, is a lobbyist and John Podesta's wife, Mary, is a Washington lawyer.

IMHO, the whole TSA naked scanner/molest (including kids) thing is a trial balloon to see if Americans are sheep or have any spine. After all, if people merely compalain about their children being sexually molested by fedgov agents, their is little the fedgov can’t do with impunity.

It is looking more and more like we really are a nation of sheep...

I can’t see our soldiers marching on their parents, wives, children, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents and the friends around town. No, plus even if some were ordered, and some beagn shooting, there are more vets and others, that would pummel any insurrection. Podesta is a lame ### and he and Soros can take a leap. Where’s Joe McCarthy? They’re OUT IN THE OPEN now, no more cold war.

Wow. Unbelievable. Two more years and out they go. That is unless the “powers of the President” can be used to cancel elections and/or ignore their results.

Perhaps Podesta should really take a good look at both the blue/red map and the new governor controlled state maps and think long and hard on what he says. No way states like Indiana, Texas, and a whole bunch of others would ever allow this to happen without having a say in matters.

The Constitution is explicit, as to the Congress making the rules that govern the armed forces:

Article 1 Section 8:

The Congress shall have power ....

To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces;
