IIRC, doesn’t the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act specifically prohibit debt collectors from contacting anyone but the debtor regarding the debt. Is it "contact" or something like "contact in person, by phone or by mail"? Has the law not kept up with advancing technology and the debt collectors are taking advantage of that?
