In the big depression (the one in the 1920’s - not the first Obama depression) California had quarantine stations on the roads entering the state where they reused entry to Oakies and others they classified as undesirables.

Now it is time for the states bordering California to establish quarantine stations on roads leading out of California so they can refuse entry to undesirables seeking to leave California before the final collapse. People such as registered democrats, members of the Communist Party of the USA, members of NEA, LaRaza, the NAACP, those with Obama stickers on their cars, welfare mooches, etc. who had a part in the destruction of the Golden State should be forced to remain there and reap the the whirlwind they have created.

As a conservative Californian, on one hand I’d like to see CA crash. My hope would be that liberals won’t see the light until they feel the heat.... though, at the same time, I believe that they’re essentially uninformed and brainwashed.

If you look at the voting maps, almost all of the counties vote conservative... but our votes are hijacked by the SF and LA areas. Yes, it’s frustrating. We’re **almost** half of the votes (so that is some small spark of hope)

CA does, however, have a growing population of Tea Parties which include many dems.. so that’s somewhat encouraging. It’s all about educating the people.

I’m not sure we conservatives can win that fight though due to LaRaza, illegal aliens & Unions. ... but if we don’t stand firm to fight, who will? I’m not sure we’re ready to give up just yet.

Most of CA is agricultural. .. a lot of people out of state don’t realize this. ... but the seats of power have been hijacked by the Unions, their cronies & others who LOOT the state and the country. ... so while we love the land & weather here in CA, but we need to find a better way to get the message out that liberalism will crush the state.

It’s a real shame because CA is a beautiful state. (We’re way out in the country).. and now, many are trapped - unable to sell property in order to relocate (if we chose to do so).

What is going to hurt all of us is what the environmental Nazis are doing to agriculture in California.

To save a small fish, suitable only for fertilizer, they are turning the Imperial Valley and other agricultural areas into dust bowls.

Texas wouldn’t dare hand them a knife. Those sissies wouldn’t know how to use one.

Want to tell that to the owner of this site? He lives in Fresno, California.

I've had it with you pricks who are stupid enough to flush 1/6 of the US economy as if it didn't matter to you. It's the same zero sum game the Democrats play. To this day, California contributes more to Federal revenue than it consumes, unlike a great many "red" states.

But we can, by gum, let them see the business end of our guns if they need to be put out of their misery.

I'm sure you're referring to CA's liberal knuckleheads only.

If not, I'll only say come get some.

Many posts on these F California threads lend credence to stereotypes of conservative knuckle-dragging. Ignorance on parade.

Same problem with Oregon and Washington. We would do well to ceede all the land west of the Sierras and Cascades to Mexico and Canada respectively. In return we could get Alberta, Sonora, and Chihuahua. Oh, and lets trade the people who live there away with the land.

Even the movie industry will probably go to Texas.

The movie industry has already gone to Canada to avoid the unions. Hollywood talks big, but walks small.

The fact is, there ain’t no such thing as a California conservative

Yes, there are California conservatives. Hello, Jim Robinson? Free Republic? And a couple hundred thousand more of us, too. There just aren't enough to make any headway against the millions of SF/LA looney libs and illegals.

The fact is, there ain't no such thing as a California conservative. They can stay where they are and clean up their own mess.

You do realize I hope that you are posting on a server based in California which is owned by a resident of California.  With your dislike of all things California related, I strongly urge you to leave FR .

Cheers,

Oh really? I'm sure that Jim Robinson, a resident of Fresno, California, and the owner of Free Republic, will be surprised to hear that.

It’s gotten to the point where many FReepers are looking to poke a stick in someone’s eye and CA FReepers are the easiest and most convenient target.

Some of the comments I’ve seen and replied to border on the visceral and sadistic. Many are just downright stupid and wrong. I think the ones that get to me the most are the self-righteous, puerile twits living in states that aren’t much better than CA. Hiding behind the anonymity of the internet. If they think they’re “helping” us by piling on and pointing out the obvious, well, I don’t want or need that kind of help.

Much of America’s garbage came to CA and helped accelerate its demise. They act as if there’s something in the water here. That it’s ALL “homegrown”.

Now that same garbage [or its spawn] is returning home from their sullied nest [CA] and those of us left here get the privilege of dealing with the visceral and vituperative remarks of many righteously pissed off Americans. But that doesn’t excuse their behavior. Be pissed, but direct it where it needs to go.

I for one, agree with many if not all the remarks, but it gets tiresome reading the aspersions, day in and day out. I get that folks are frustrated with CA, but you know what? What the hell do they think we’re going through? Before they hit that post button, they need to stop and think for just a couple of seconds how their comments are going to be interpreted.

If they don’t give a damn about insulting or offending fellow FReepers, then fire away. But they’d better not get pissed or self-righteous when a CA FReeper or any other FReeper decides to call them out on their comment. If they’re going to dish it, they best prepare themselves for a helping of it right back.

As someone who transferred here while in the military, I chose to stay because I landed a good job in a decent location that is pretty conservative. I’m not pleading for a bailout,[on the contrary, I want the state to go broke] I’m not sitting here wringing my hands, I’m engaged, I educate any who will listen and I vote.

I fail to see where I, or any other CA FReeper should surrender and leave per the advice of many FReepers. Is that what conservatives do? Flee from liberals?

I’m staying and fighting.

They are welcome to come here. However, their central product - satanists and communists - will not be comfortable living here.

***CO is one, and they are after TX now as well. Liberalisim/socialism is a cancer and it’s spreading.***

True! Many people retire from Chicago and Ohio to NW Arkansas. The first things they gripe about is there are not enough “Unions” here, and I get sick of hearing...”That’s not how it’s done in Chicaga”! They foul their nest and then want to foul ours.

Normally Kalefornians can be identified by their first statement on arriving. “That isn’t how we did it in California.” On hearing this statement you should be return them to California and not permitted to leave to pollute your State.

Texas has a long history of dealing with communists comming over the border and attempting to “convert” the state to Mexican peasanthood. So far, the opposite has happened - Texas turns many of the Mexican peasants into rabid strong, free Americans who help keep the State free and keep the commie invaders in line.

You don’t get to decide who is and isn’t a conservative. You aren’t that important.

I wonder, just what state you live in? Care to let us in on your little secret? Hiding behind the anonymity of the internet makes it oh so convenient to smear folks doesn’t it?

From a CA conservative who is staying and doesn’t want or need help from the likes of you.
