Like Bush and Reagan, the media has a cow denying something she has said as being untrue, irresponsible, nutty, etc...

only for us to learn later it was actually true. Remember how the Left jeered at her talk of “death panels” in ObamaCare. And now Paul Krugman is there admitting that death panels are going to have to be part of the plan.

And they howled when she said supermarket prices were rising, only to learn later that supermarket prices are rising!

I watched her premiere episode and liked it but I’m unsure if it really helps her as a candidate.

She’s not a candidate yet. The purpose of the series is image repair. She’s doing a reverse Reagan. He had the positive image first from movies and TV, then he became a politician and the dems and the media had to destroy that image. Gov. Palin had no public image outside of Alaska and she got the destruction first and now has to build her image by way of a multi-media assault. The genius of Palin is that she doesn’t have to pay for the media exposure, they are paying her big-time. She has to do this now, before announcing her candidacy. She will be unconventional as a candidate and that also will get media attention. The biggest political autobiography ever followed by the biggest hit cable series debut ever is a good start to be followed by the biggest grassroots political campaign ever. The fun is just beginning.
