I said Rudy for these reasons:
1. RINO or not, he is very intelligent and can speak well.
2. He’s not afraid to mix it up.
3. With the 10th anniversary of 9/11 coming up, who better to have out there, showing the American people (and the world) the one American party takes national security seriously.
Otherwise either SP or Jim DeMint.
He is also very popular throughout the country; even with Dems and Independents.

I don’t know whether Rudy would hurt the fundraising efforts in the hinterlands, but otherwise I like it.
