Would Barack Obama be a stronger president if he announced today that he will not run for re-election in 2012? Democratic strategists Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen say the answer is yes.
"If the president goes down the reelection road, we are guaranteed two years of political gridlock at a time when we can ill afford it," Caddell and Schoen write in Sunday's Washington Post. "But by explicitly saying he will be a one-term president, Obama can deliver on his central campaign promise of 2008, draining the poison from our culture of polarization and ending the resentment and division that have eroded our national identity and common purpose."

Assumes he would do what he said he would do. The man’s a liar. Did he not say he would cap his campaign spending by accepting federal money? He’s been neutered whether he says he will quit or not.
Gridlock is usually good and particularly desirable in the present context.
“obanjo would still be a fraud no matter what he would do. more and more people are looking for an arrest rather than a resignation. “

arrest???
maybe as a first-step formality only...
seems like all hands want to go easy on this guy...
ya just cannot pick-up a turd by a clean end—face it!
Scarier then a horror movie.
He’s never cared about “the good of the country”
It’s always been his ego and the manipulations of him by others That’s not going to change.
Should Obama run again? YES! So he can be removed by the DNC for a more qualified(?) candidate or suffer the humilliation of a national defeat at the polls.
Think it through. If he runs and the Dems replace him at the convention they will loose their black support.
If they keep him on the ticket they will keep their black support but loose the election big time!
Personally I think the Dems will privately talk him into not running so as to avoid the humiliation of a defeat at the convention or the polls.
That one guy reminds me of Axelrod...who, by the way, would do America well being put there, too!
Today would not be soon enough before Obama destroys America.
Who says george soros is not about to pull the plug on him, ESPECIALLY after the debacle in Asia?
The Obaminator has been a woefully inadequate representation of the interests of EITHER the US or george soros anywhere in the world.
If you wonder where all the stirring for Herself, the “Cold and Joyless”, has been coming from, most of it is from within the various soros front organizations around the world. Herself is the bright and rising star, as much more competence (for achieving the soros objectives) has been recently displayed.
The Obaminator could screw up a one-car funeral.
What’s wrong with him quitting yesterday?
Should one try and get rid of an STD when they first find out? Or wait until one is pissing puss?
Right now our country is having painfull bladder releases.
“..which reminds me of ANOTHER movie idea for him...
Remember that banning into a record album, they did in, “Superman?”
LMAO and the wookie as well.
I’d suggest cutting his losses and quitting on the plane ride back.
After 1 term why not after a half term?
Sure he will - especially when encouraged to take over on 1/1/2012 as SecGen at the UN.
