"This is about whether or not Palin wants to carry the weight of getting 0bama reelected."

And you just "know" that if she runs, he will just automatically win?? And what, precisely, gives you this level of clairvoyance two years out from the election?? You "do" recall, that at a similar time point out from election, that Reagan had similar negatives, and the news media was painting him with precisely the same "brush" that they are trying to use on Palin?

"Palin consistently loses to 0bama in head to head match-ups. Often, her name is the only one that loses to 0bama. Believe these polls. We can’t afford to dismiss them."

See "Reagan polls" with the same precise standing. You simply CANNOT draw conclusions from polls this far out from elections.

"Palin is a known entity. She has near universal name ID already. She is not going to pick up votes. People have already made up their minds. She has no room for improvement."

Balderdash. The "media image" of Palin is nothing like the reality. With every step she takes, she is overcoming that image, in precisely the same way that Reagan did....by "bypassing" the media and making her case directly with the people. And by the time she runs, she will be both Teflon-coated and bullet-proof, as they will have cast all their stones, and have none left, even more so than Reagan.

Ronald Reagan was the Great Communicator.
Sarah Palin is the Incoherent Rambler.
There is no comparison.

Reagan was also the very popular 2 term Governor of the most populous state in the Union.
If Palin could carry California, then her election would not be a problem. But she can’t, and it is.

I forgot about that. I think a week before the election, Reagan was still polling behind Carter!

Sorry, but with every step Palin takes, she stays right where she’s been. There numbers are not there for her to win nationally. She’s the only potential Republican candidate to lose to 0bama in every single poll taken.

Is our nation really worth risking for you to see Palin run for president?
Why?

Seriously, why?
Our future hangs in the balance.
Palin is not the only one who can save it.
She is no saviour at all.
At least not for us.
For 0bama and the Democrats, perhaps.

Just as Sharron Angle was the only one that Reid could beat, Palin is the only one 0bama can beat.
And 0bama wants to run against Palin just as Reid wanted to run against Angle.
Learn from that, and let’s not repeat the same mistakes over and over.

I wanted Sharron Angle to win just as much as anyone, both in the primary and in the general.
And I believed the power of the Tea Party would sweep her into office.
But I was wrong. We all were.
I am capable of learning from my mistakes.
Are you?
Will you?

I hope our side does before it is too late.
We’ve got less than 15 months to figure it out.

You should really remove that idiotic Michael Reagan quote from your tag line.
I know Michael Reagan feels sick over saying it. He got momentarily swept up in the manufactured excitement. He was trying to be a good partisan, but he knows he should never have invoked his late father’s name in that context.

But he disgraced his father’s memory with images of him in a dress and talk of him rising from the dead and flying around the GOP convention.
It was stomach turning, and unfortunately, Michael will have to live with the shame for the rest of his life. But you don’t have to continue to dishonor President Reagan.

So you decide not to answer my question? No news there. People like you usually follow the same script. The fact is she is not a celebrity in the mold that even Reagan was in his day. In todays media, it instant overkill.

Believe what you will about her, but for now answer my question. Who do you want as president?

Palin needs to get rid of the McCain - Soros connections if she stands a chamce with conservatives.

She is a no go if she doesn’t.

Fortunately there are lots of other possibilities for Prez in 2012.

You KNOW that he feels sick over saying it? Funny, I never heard that. And I hear Michael Reagan quite often.

Pay attention, Sparky. My sweetie is an educator in Chicago. He went to Iowa and got his master’s from the University of Chicago. He was a lib when I met him. He isn’t anymore.

Bill Ayers was one of his BFF professors, in fact. He has become a Palin fan, much to the chagrin of his cloistered colleagues. Why? He said to me “People don’t ‘get’ this, but there is no more difficult thing in education than conveying a complicated theory in a simple way. We identify this quality in future teachers as a gift. It’s rare, and we nurture it, when we come across it. Sarah Palin is able to convey complicated issues in ways that people can understand. She is a teacher. This is also why people are left scratching their head after listening to Obama. He’s given a long answer and even HE has no idea what he has said.”

How about I choose my own tagline and you choose your tagline?

I’d invite you to bite me, but I’m not interested in your STD’s.

Kindest regards....

Close the NH primaries; or the dems win the White House in 2012...

Absolutely. Our only hope is that Clinton challenges Obama for the Dumocrat nomination. Otherwise, the dums will be voting in the GOP primary, and they won't be voting for Sarah.

She is a celebrity. Is there any doubt whatsoever ?

Isn't she a brilliant tactician? She has the conservative base eating out of her hand, and now she's winning over the apolitical middle with her TV series.

What's that? Media's unsuccessful attempt at reporting negatively on Sarah for 24/7 for two years straight and nothing touched her? Yeah, that would be a phenomenon.

And the more they did it, the more successful she grew. And we have two more years to go!

AND... she stuck her neck out in support of Tea Party underdogs in the mid-terms, and most of her candidates WON. Notice that she didn't jump in front of the parade, or support obvious winners. She took REAL RISKS. She put herself on the line for the cause.

AND... Who ISN'T drawing media fire? Huckabee, Romney and Newt. Why would that be? Hmmmm...

Perhaps people are looking at all of the Palinesque candidates she backed who lost statewide races in battleground states?

You mean those battleground states such as FL, PA, OH, SC, IA, and NH?

No matter what they do or say, RINOs cannot get the conservative vote, and they cannot draw the majority of independents that just came out for TEA Party candidates and Palin. Sarah Palin can get those votes.

This is well said and for proof just look to Cali. We have been running squishy R's for state seats (and Gov.) and look at the mess we have. We even lost one seat this go 'round.

If folks want to vote for someone with the values of a Dem, why would they vote republican? They don't!

"Ronald Reagan was the Great Communicator. Sarah Palin is the Incoherent Rambler. There is no comparison."

Michael Reagan thought there was. I think I'll take his judgment over yours.

"Reagan was also the very popular 2 term Governor of the most populous state in the Union. If Palin could carry California, then her election would not be a problem. But she can’t, and it is.

And Palin was the popular governor of the physically largest state in the Union. Reagan didn't face the "death by lawsuit" that Palin did. But Palin CAN pull in the same voter base that Reagan did. And California doesn't matter as much as it once did, as the redistricting takes place BEFORE the 2012.

"Is our nation really worth risking for you to see Palin run for president? Why?"

Perhaps because philosophically she is in the right place, and has the charisma to succeed.

"Seriously, why? Our future hangs in the balance. Palin is not the only one who can save it. She is no saviour at all. At least not for us.For 0bama and the Democrats, perhaps.

I think Palin IS the only one who can win. Who else is there?? And I'll ask again, WHY are you putting so much stock in polls two years ahead of the election??

Palin is doing PRECISELY what Reagan did....going "past" the media directly to the people. And doing it splendidly.

"I know Michael Reagan feels sick over saying it. He got momentarily swept up in the manufactured excitement. He was trying to be a good partisan, but he knows he should never have invoked his late father’s name in that context."

REALLY??? And you know this how??? By the same non-existent clairvoyance that lets you know that the polls two years from now will be exactly the same as today.

"But he disgraced his father’s memory with images of him in a dress and talk of him rising from the dead and flying around the GOP convention. It was stomach turning, and unfortunately, Michael will have to live with the shame for the rest of his life. But you don’t have to continue to dishonor President Reagan."

Well, "I" didn't (and don't) see anything "disgraceful" about it. Maybe you need a humor injection.
