It was a front. Perhaps I assume incorrectly that the jet stream carries with it the humidity of the front. We already established that UPS902 was over Catalina Island at 17:31:33. Its altitude was ~ 30,000 feet. It was 35 miles south of Long Beach at 17:33:01. Altitude ~ 29,000 feet. It was then 20 miles south of Costa Mesa at 17:34:29 at ~ 29,000 feet.

Even the timing puts that flight in the wrong place at the wrong times. Too far south. The maps of its flight path have it crossing over the south end of Catalina Island anyway not north of the island.

I’ve been wondering if anyone has asked the crew of UPS 902 if they saw a honkin’ big ol’ missile coming up at ‘em... ‘-)

Yeah that's what the track shows...looked it up on a couple tracking sites...so how can anyone say conclusively that this is the object? All the reports I saw/read put it well north of Catalina~
