Amazing Interview: Air Force General says "Sub Launched Missile, 100% Certain"
Fox News Interview with Air Force General Tom McInerney | November 14th 2010 | Fox News Hannity Interview

Posted on 11/13/2010 2:55:59 PM PST by DontTreadOnMe2009

Hannity was surprised to hear a famous ex Air Force General tell him “That Is A Missile, Shot From A Submarine!” I quote retired Air Force Lieutenant General Tom McInerney (ex commander of 11th Air Force in Alaska) “I spent 35 years flying fighters, and you can see the guidance system kick in, I have watched that film 10 times, I am absolutely certain that that is not an aircraft, but a sub launch ICBM missile!!!” See the video and judge his words for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LivRJOWrcpA&feature=player_embedded#! Yeah, 10" classic on a wedge.

The pier is filled with find sand to help eliminate or dampen micro-vibrations caused by the tracking motors...

The entire pier sunk into about 5,000 pounds of concrete for stability..

The floor is isolated from the pier, again to help reduce vibrations which would destroy images.

... their separate contrails might appear as one, especially from 35,000 feet. That’s another thing. Some people here are perplexed at the absence of more contrails in the sky over LAX. We have to remember, this flight was overflying LAX on its way to PHX, at approx. 35,000 feet....cold as hell....conducive for big time steam making if you will.

With the naked eye, perhaps, especially in hazy skies. With binoculars, nope, no mistaking one for the other at that altitude. Airborne with a high-quality camera equipped with zoon lenses, I don't know from personal experience, but ... I'd be kinda surprised if it was easier to misidentify a commercial contrail for missile plume.

But I’ve seen this kind of thing before. Haven’t you? Yes, at first glance it does look rocket like, yes it makes you look twice.

My first reaction...a missile. All I have is what I saw, which ain't much. Years of droning around LA basin in a Cessna isn't much in the way of credentials. My position is to defer to experts for final analysis. Some pretty credible people say it's a missile. I'm going to keep an open mind and enjoy the debate...:oP

My opinion as well.

I ————— am————— speechless.

I really would like to say something, like:

Maybe we’re related so we’re coming out for Thanksgiving.
That is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen on Free Republic.
Now *that* should be for sale on Hammacher Schlemmer!
How long did that take to design and assemble?
My husband’s eyes started twinkling when I just showed him & he’s incredibly envious.
He says we’ll bring all the food.
And beer.

Yes, at first glance it does look rocket like, yes it makes you look twice.

This past week I was out in the park during the late afternoon. There were some strong high-altitude winds.

They distorted the 'contrails' just like in the picture.

The contrail turned orange, as well.

I’m sorry, I just don’t see any rational reasoning involved for this other then an aircraft.
Too much has lined up against it being anything other.

Wild conjecture to make it be a rocket doesn’t cut it.

If it was a missile, where did it go?

Watch out what you wish for. The inconclusive proof you request may cost real lives. I prefer for it to go on in dispute, as inconclusive proof that was harmless is unlikely.

Meanwhile, go on accusing your fellows of being idiots, because that seems to be your main argument.

It is conjecture and I am having some fun with it but I didn't know Airbus was using Saturn V engines.

Yeah, it’s not unusual stuff, not everyday no, not at all, but some of this I think I put off to people just not looking up anymore to see this stuff. Heads down in devices all the time.

And when they do... wow what’s that! LOL
Well, it’s been there before, they just never looked.

But if it was a dark brown UPS plane then, never mind. That's a different matter.

The trucks don't fly.

The current (since 2003) scheme still features high-reflection white, with the brown above and aft...

It’s a contrail that has widened beyond the horizon and the aircraft coming toward you, not away.

Very simple explaination. No rocket scienced needed, Pun intended.

Now throw in a news chopper video crew and some sun glint.

We got Art Bell land.

There was another event among others, we observed in the Pacific off the Southern California coast.

Much more stunning visually than this recent "missile" event.

I'm guessing it was 1969, summer time, clear, not a cloud in the sky, at approximately 11:30 p.m.

We were up on a hill, probably 1800' elevation and suddenly observed several massive flashes that lit up the entire southwestern sky, literally causing the entire sky to light up like day light...

After the 4th or 5th flash, we fully expected to feel large explosive type concussions....That never happened...Not a sound...After about 8 extremely bright flashes over approximately a 2 minute period, they were never seen again by us. All the flashes appeared to be emanating out in the Pacific...

We never heard one single report, not one single news broadcast on this event.

And it cracks me up about people believing our military would/should tell the public what *they* feel they “have a right” to know.

Yep. To me the operative word is "should." And why I guess I'm feeling a little guilty about not just weaning myself from these revealing threads, but in resisting the probably good contrail line. *sigh* My thanks to your Marines. Please convey it for me, and the same thanks to you for being among the "support" effort of their daily lives! :^)

First of all, I’m a ma’am. I’ve previously mentioned having a husband.

Secondly, if the Teleprompter needs our security agencies to immediately shut their yaps, it is most certainly NOT taking “hours” to accomplish the task. Most don’t say anything to the media concerning national security without having information handed to them from the Pentagon.

Off to watch the Giants now...

Sadly, I think this nation is going to need to see another draft. I can’t think of anything else other than this which would teach another generation or two about supporting our military leaders, “loose lips sink ships” and being a team-USA player.

Agree with you on that, Sister FReeper!
