Hannity was surprised to hear a famous ex Air Force General tell him That Is A Missile, Shot From A Submarine! I quote retired Air Force Lieutenant General Tom McInerney (ex commander of 11th Air Force in Alaska) I spent 35 years flying fighters, and you can see the guidance system kick in, I have watched that film 10 times, I am absolutely certain that that is not an aircraft, but a sub launch ICBM missile!!! See the video and judge his words for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LivRJOWrcpA&feature=player_embedded#! I will next post a clickable link.
LOL Finny. So why are Jane’s dropping it like a hot stone?
So, for over a week dozens of people have posted factual analysis, data showing where the plane was, sat photos of the contrail, comparative photos of other contrails, including one 24 hours later that was similar, weather data, and all kinds of explanations of the science behind the contrail.
And what proof has the missile crowd produced? Absolutely nothing, just hearsay from some obscure military folk who weren’t there, are not experts on the subject and don’t address any of the data or science.
The missile crowd crossed into kook land on day one, now its just sad and pathetic to watch them clinging on to a kooky position, in the face of real data.
Is it any wonder why conspiracy theorists are so marginalized on the fringe?
I will not even venture to pose a theory. As Werhner von Braun would say, "That's not my department."
The conspiracy theorist answer would be that "they" got to Jane's! Now Jane's is just a shill for the evil "them". You can't argue with a conspiracy theorist, because when you prove them wrong, they just accuse you of being part of the conspiracy, then they create a new one.
(But watch out for the zombies...)
In the video we can see the contrail being formed and it is perpendicular to that FlightAware drawing. The wind hadn't blown it anywhere as we can see it being made. So, that is a nice explanation but it doesn't wash.
The problem with your drift theory is that the contrail is being blown by winds of 25-30 mph to the southeast. The overlaid pics above accurately show that. But the plane is moving at a right angle to the wind at a minimum of 500 mph. The plane barely moves forward in this multiple overlay while the contrail moves a lot. That doesn't make sense no matter what perspective problems you throw into it.
If that is the same event, then why does your photo show a timestamp of 11/8/10 at 18:15:44.
That is one and one half hours later than the event, which was at 16:45 pm on 11/8/10.
And why are lights on and the horizon dark when it was still daylight when the event occurred?
Replied via FReepMail...
You say perpendicular, I say perspective.

What is your source of “winds of 25-30 mph to the southeast” at 39,000 feet?
I have been looking for the pics of the separation (gap) in the plume and can’t find them anywhere. They were screen captures from Gil Leyvas’ video. I looked through about 20 pages of a Google search then scrolled through every page of about ten FR threads, including this one, and have come up empty. I thought there were at least two but maybe there was only one. Surely more than one person has put them on a server? Do you know the pics I mean and can you find them?
Well, I know it isn’t traveling at over 500 mph. Looking up info on jet streams they average between 100-140 mph up to about 42,000 ft. Yet the contrail has moved further in the sky in that time-lapse overlay than the “aircraft.”
If you're not going to take it seriously then there's not much point is there? We see the contrail being made and it is at a right angle to the simulated flight path of UPS902 FlightAware created.
Then you're still one half hour off.
At the altitude where contrails form, the winds are more typically 75-100 mph -- and are often in a different direction than surface winds. But I guess that isn't important if you don't think contrails are...
Where do you get “the event, which was at 16:45pm”? The sun was still up at 16:45. Official sunset was 16:54. If you’re basing it on the KCBS video, the sun had passed beyond the horizon (even for the helicopter, which would have pushed that time a few minutes later for its elevation).
Look 40-45 seconds out -- and following. (But watch out for those little black UFOs zipping by from left to right...) ;-)
Even the "red" plume plays out toward the end of that clip...
