That is a possible scenario.
If I remember correctly, Haley was very quick on his feet whenever he was interviewed as RNC Chair.
It always appeared to me that he gave many a snotty presstitute a verbal "wedgie", correcting the presstitute's error/lie, while using that smooth southern voice, smiling all the time.
Another thing he would do is after verbally "whuppin" them, he would smile and linger a moment, looking at them, appearing to be saying: "Are you done, or do you need some more 'correcting'?" Then he would point to the next presstitute, inviting them to step right on up.
Of course, Haley will carry the baggage of his lobbyist activities with him if he should decide to run. That should be offset quite a bit by his Governor's experience, and in that vein, his post-Katrina Governor's actions.
I would certainly say that Haley knows the ins and outs of the Federal Government, and that is an asset.
At the same time, I am unsure if he would be willing to make the very difficult decisions necessary to clean out the Socialists/Communists embedded throughout the Federal Government, and turn this country back towards less taxes and smaller government.
Perhaps if he had a sufficient majority of Conservatives in both houses of Congress, he would.
He is another possible candidate I will watch with interest as we move towards 2012.
He's got one foot on a banana peel right now.

He's got something .... supposing he could be convinced to run.
