Glenn Beck is in trouble for mouthing off, again.
The Anti-Defamation League slammed the conservative Fox News host for accusing liberal philanthropist George Soros of helping Nazis to send Jews to their deaths during the Holocaust.
Beck said on the radio this week that Soros — as a 13-year-old Jewish boy living apart from his parents in Hungary — "used to go around with this anti-Semite and deliver papers to the Jews and confiscate their property and then ship them off. … It was frightening. Here's a Jewish boy helping send the Jews to the death camps."

American Jewish leaders and an Israeli diplomat contacted by The New York Sun reacted to the Soros comments yesterday with dismay and disagreement.
“It’s a warped view of the Holocaust and its aftermath, of Israel, and America,” said the national director of the Anti-Defamation League , Abraham Foxman. “It is outrageous. To call it obscenity is not strong enough a word. It is so perverted and so perverse.”

Consider his own remarkable admission. Soros, who is Jewish, in a speech to the Jewish Funders Network astoundingly blamed the cause of anti-Semitism on Israel and then on himself.
After blaming Israel and the U.S. for causing anti-Semitism and citing the Malaysian prime minister’s statement that the “Jews rule the world by proxy,” Soros then confessed, “I’m also very concerned about my own role because the new anti-Semitism holds that the Jews rule the world. As an unintended consequence of my actions,” he said, “I also contribute to that image.”
Abraham Foxman of the Anti-Defamation league appropriately called Soros’ remarks “obscene” and declared, “He buys into the stereotype. It’s a simplistic, counterproductive, biased and bigoted perception of what’s out there. It’s blaming the victim for all of Israel’s and the Jewish people’s ills.”

Malaysian leader’s charges anger American Jews - `Agenda’ torpedoed his country’s currency, he says

American Jewish leaders Tuesday expressed outrage over comments by Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who accused Jews of trying to block the development of his predominantly Muslim nation and of sabotaging its currency.
Mr. Mahathir’s remarks were “consistent with his long record of anti-Semitism and belief in a Jewish conspiracy to bring about the downfall of Malaysia,” said Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League in New York.

Over the last few months, Mr. Mahathir has been angered by what he claims is foreign interference with Malaysia’s currency, the ringgit. It has dropped 18 percent against the dollar since early July to its lowest level in 25 years. The Kuala Lumpur stock market has fallen by 27 percent this year.
Mr. Mahathir last month blamed it all on international currency speculators, especially George Soros , who is Jewish. He threatened to clamp controls on foreign currency trading.

October-November 1997: Mahathir claimed to have “definite information” that financier George Soros, whom he identified as a Jew, was responsible for Malaysia’s currency problems. He stated:
We do not want to say that this is a plot by the Jews, but in reality it is a Jew who triggered the currency plunge, and coincidentally Soros is a Jew. It is also a coincidence that Malaysians are mostly Moslem. Indeed, the Jews are not happy to see Moslems progress. If it were Palestine, the Jews would rob Palestinians. Thus this is what they are doing to our country.
When journalists suggested that his comments were anti-Semitic, Mahathir responded: “I merely stated that incidentally this person is a Jew, and incidentally we are Moslems.”
Some weeks later, he reiterated:
“I did not say there was a Jewish conspiracy. That was one of the options. We did not accuse the Jews of causing the currency plunge, but it looked like they triggered the currency crisis. Are we not allowed to say anything about it? We feel as if we are not allowed to say anything irritating concerning other countries.”
Mahathir also stated:
“When a person of Jewish origin does this kind of thing, the effect is the same as when as a Muslim carried out something akin to terrorism.”

The ruling comes at a time when the ADL is also embroiled in the Marc Rich pardon scandal. The organization said it received some $250,000 in the past 15 years from the fugitive financier who received a controversial 11th-hour pardon from President Clinton. The league’s national director, Abraham Foxman, declared last month that he “probably” had made a mistake in writing a letter to Mr. Clinton supporting the Rich pardon.

Seriously, Soros is the 21st century equivalent of Cecil Rhodes and J.P. Morgan. Just like Rhodes his immense fortune was made possible by conveniently enabling connections provided by "them" with the understanding that he would use it to promote certain agendas which they favored.
