There’s an easy way to find out if the Military was involved.
Go back to the air traffic tapes from yesterday and see if ATC moved the aircraft around the Zone. That’s normal operating proceedure.
They don’t want to put an intercontinental missile near a commerical aircraft filled with pax.
If the air traffic is normal then we have a problem.
As has been noted on the many previous postings of this story.
Another poster mentioned on an earlier thread that one indicator of friend or foe would be military (Naval) activity in and around the area and time. Heavy activity afterward would likely indicate foe.

That source doesn't see how the missile was launched into W537, but it was close enough that I think its plausible.
