That source doesn't see how the missile was launched into W537, but it was close enough that I think its plausible.
I’ve tried DOD for NOTAMs and NOMARs. As a pilot, I can find the info, however the KZLA NOTAM isn’t with DOD or FAA....I did find many on the internet...the words that “stick out” to me are “all non-participating pilots are advised to avoid....” In reality the wording would be “TFR”. Plain and simple.
While I’m not familiar with NOMARs, I’ll bet sailors would get the same, lest an ICBM cumma runnin’ through the keel.
