Mohammed hated dogs, but he liked cats and had one as a pet. Dogs are considered dirty garbage-eaters. And yet they like goats. Go figure.

I think that is because goats have nicer rear ends.

He hated dogs because his crooks could not even sneak into a village, disguised in burkas, on raids - the dogs barked at them knowing they did not belong to the village. The dogs outted them before they could rape and pillage!

Well, dogs are pretty much dirty garbage eaters, and then they want to lick your face. I have two so I know. My husband says that after visiting Nepal, he knows why dogs and pigs are considered unclean in some cultures. They are basically the garbage disposal and sewage system.
