She may have won. Or she may be overly optimistic.
Murkowski's fate rests in the reading of more than 83,000 write-in ballots. As of Thursday, initial returns showed write-in ballots held a 13,439-vote edge over GOP nominee Joe Miller, but it's not clear how many of those are for Murkowski -- or how many of the ballots have been cast properly.
At least 37,800 absentee, early and questioned ballots also need to be tallied.

The NRSC is really screwing Miller over... where are the armies of lawyers to challenge votes?? And all the ads they put in at the last minute to try and hurt the dem, who had ZERO chance , was really helping Murk all along... all that money wasted in Kali could have been better used in NV, Colorado and Washington...
I AM DONE WITH THE GOP!!!!
The only thing that is absolutely true at this moment is that only 1/3 of all ballots cast have been counted, and Miller has 69,000 more votes counted than Murkowski.
If she does pull this out and is allowed to caucus with the republicans or is given any level of leadership position in the party, the time for me to leave the party has arrived. Barely hangin on now, but this would do it until the leadership is replaced.
I doubt they care, since I donate directly to the candidate of my choice. (Don’t trust RNSC anymore than I trust unions)
Lisa Murky-cow-skiing currently has zero votes. For the write-in vote count has not yet been released. And until the write-in vote count is released, she’ll continue to have zero votes.
