Do you really believe Rove has that much influence? You don’t think people can look at a candidate and make up their own minds? O’Donnell wasn’t a good candidate. Simple as that.

As much as I detest Rove -- and I detest him a great deal, for many reasons, not just the O'Donnell issue (though that's a biggie) -- I have to agree with you.

How many DELAWARE voters said "well, I have to go with Karl Rove on this one"? Who would ever say that about Rove on any issue? How many people in America consider Rove their intellectual guide to anything? (Zero? One? Three?)

Same with NV voters.

Both those states just have too many liberals.

And both those states, unfortunately, had R candidates who couldn't win over enough of those liberals to win.

If, in your opinion, she was so bad,why didn’t you run in her place then? Back when they [Republicans] could not get anyone to run ahainst Biden she stepped up. She was good enough then.Other than her aging, what else changed? She was good enough to run against Biden, but, not against their RINO. In other words, the Establishment Republicans thought that she was good enough to screw but not to marry.

My take on it is that she took out their RINO, a/k/a Democrat butt boy and that is what ticked off the Establishment Republicans. They put out the talking points and their peanut gallery began parroting them.

Rove had a temper tantrum when his candidate lost...and broke the 11th Commandment...on TV!

He has even less influence on me today than he did before he went off on O'Donnell...on TV!

Rove showed how extremely immature he is when he doesn't get his way. Wonder if this is why he is recently divorced?

Rove needs to grow up!

True, but they're all at some point along the "5 stages" trail.

We saw "denial" by the stout refusal to believe those lying, liberal polls showing O'Donnell losing by 15+ points.

Here we see "anger" -- it can't possibly be as you say, that O'Donnell was a poor candidate. It's got to be somebody else's fault.

There's not much "bargaining" to be done on this race, but you can look at the "we'll prove there was fraud" folks in the Nevada race for that.

"Depression" will come soon enough.

"Acceptance" may never come ... but if it does, perhaps the Delaware Tea Party folks might use the experience to find a good candidate next time.

“...O’Donnell wasn’t a good candidate. Simple as that...”

It’s not that simple; what IS simple is this:

“ONE TEAM, ONE FIGHT”.

Rove forgot that or ignored it.

You get behind your people and you push them forward; you don’t get in front of them and trash them and aid/abet the enemy.

That’s what’s simple.

Would she still have lost? Maybe; but at least it would have been been WITHOUT being backstabbed by “our” own side, and we would have shown a unified front against the Left.

The message Rove publically sent was “She’s a LOSER!” He wanted the RINO and showed his true colors with his little public temper tantrum, and who the Hell KNOWS what kind of damage and sabotage he was doing to her campaign behind the scenes.

We hang together, or the Left will gladly hang us seperately, given the chance.

To my mind, Rove gave them that Senate seat.

my FRiend, it is your thought process that is as simple as that. Karl Rove cost the Republicans the Senate. I.E., the same Republicans who made this self-professed idiot savant a millionaire, were betrayed.

Instead of fighting alongside the winner of a Republican Primary, Karl Rove gave tacit approval to the MSM to savage O'Donnell. Worse still, he then JOINED them in their attacks. With Rove on her side, the savagery itself would have been an asset.

What if your company hired an ad agency who ran an ad telling the world how terrible your products were? This man is paid to be a servant of the GOP, not its master. I hope the RNC and various candidates' campaigns cut him off. He is a charlatan who has NEVER delivered value for the money. Bigger fools? The GOP/RNC Establishment that supports him.
