California voters have spoken -- and for the most part, they decided to stop the wave of anti-Democratic voting that swept the nation at the Sierras.
Now California will have a Democratic governor, Democratic Legislature and with the passage of Prop. 25, Democratic budgeting process. For years now, the Dems have been blaming the Republican minority for the state's budget woes. That's over for the next two years. Whatever happens next with California -- it will be on Jerry Brown and his party. I sure hope Brown will prove to be the maverick he hinted he would be.
Talk to your average California Republican voter and you heard little enthusiasm for Meg Whitman. Conservatives voted for Whitman because she wasn't Jerry Brown. . . .

A freind of mine in the education arena in Sacramento told me that Brown has Alzheimers. Folks in Sacramento are well aware of it. He has four handlers who manage for him.
California ran two moderate Republicans just like geniuses said they had to do. Both moderates got roasted. That doesn’t mean that a solid conservative would have won, but you’ll have more integrity and give voters a better choice if you run a strong conservative.
New country: Californistan
CA Freeper revolt could have a beneficial effect.
Naah!
Just keep Californicator and NyForker as examples of what happens when drugged out liberals control a state.
Just don’t bail us out!
At church pray out loud and give thanks for having Boxer, Brown, Pelosi and Obama as our elite rulers. This drives the liberals in church up the wall.
“A freind of mine in the education arena in Sacramento told me that Brown has Alzheimers. Folks in Sacramento are well aware of it. He has four handlers who manage for him.”
That is interesting. That short video of him after his win, was disturbing.
If this is true, that should be grounds to recall him.
I have heard similiar things re Boxer and her handlers. I have just chalked that up to her being dumber than a rock.
Man!!! That’s a real side-splitter dude!!! A Pharisee’s prayer in sarcasm!!! (speakin of Napa, we’re headin out the door for some water color art exhibit up at one of the wineries)(I take back the “dude,” above. Forgot that dumass news dude call President Oblamea “dude” in full disrespect)
Drive carefully and watch out for the Californians who can’t drive on wet roads.
We had a couple of inches of rain last night, and we have a lot of standing water in our roads/streets and what used to be roads.
Aren'tcha at least gonna wait for him to re-appoint Gray Davis as his Chief of Staff?
The grounds for impeachment in one word... The Governor is "PRETEXTING!!!"
After having lived in CA since the Navy transplanted me here over forty years ago, I was more than a bit surprised to find myself thinking the same way.
One of the many mistakes Whitman made was not educating the voters re the Moonbeam and Gray Davis connections.
The old democrats our age become senile when you mention the connection/relationship between Moonbeam and Davis.
The younger voters had no idea.
ROFLMAO----yeah, yer probably right on the money hear.
We do need a living, breathing (barely to both) example of the complete flushing down the drain of hard earned taxpayer dollars. From sea to shining sea---2 states poised to fall into the abyss.
My heart truly goes out to all my conservative FRiends living in the land of crushed hopes and dreams. I have to admit, Colorado is still flirting with the liberal failure.
