I vote in EVERY California election because it is my civic duty to do so, just as jury duty is. If you believe in rights, then you know there are no rights without responsibilities. I know I am going to lose most every vote I make in California but I vote because if I don’t, then I don’t deserve the right.
Traffic and time is a pure BS response. Ever hear of permanent absentee. I have voted from home for 12 years with my absentee ballot, doing research on the internet.

I lost on Prop 25. I lost on Prop 23.
Thanks for nothing. I have to wonder, if all of the non-voting CA conservatives voted instead of acting like you, maybe — just MAYBE — we would win some of these closer votes.
In 8 years I retire and flee to Virginia, taking my money and votes with me. In the meantime, I am fighting the hopeless cause, but still fighting. You are no help at all. Thanks for nothing.
Whitman and Fiorino lost as much because “principled conservatives” voted for 3rd party candidates as any other reason.
I do not like the state of California. I do not like the mentality here or what it stands for. There’s more than a mountain range separating this state from the rest of the country. Therefore I will not waste my time participating in it’s destruction. Why am I gonna waste my time participating in a system I 100% disagree with? It’s pointless. That is why, finally after 15 years of trying, I will be taking my vote and my job skills to another state that actually makes sense to me.

Problem is, most of us are leaving. It’s a lost cause and not worth it here.
