Voted absentee here in WI (Madison area). Mailed the ballot in during early October.

Have no idea when...or even if... it will be counted. I wonder how one goes about assuring one's self that their absentee ballot was in fact counted?

Same goes for our military folks...those few lucky enough to have received a ballot. When they mail it back in, how do they know it was counted...and not just thrown in the trash?

I live in a rural area in New York. I was there at 6 AM and there were 3 other voters there. I’m hoping Arcuri gets his walking papers today.

I may never be counted and end up in the trash, just as you fear. It is my understanding that absentee ballots are not counted in most states if the winning candidate receives more votes than total number of absentee ballots.
