Post what you're seeing, hearing in your district, county or state during the day and evening- anecdotal or otherwise!
GOTV!!!!!
You can’t imagine the number of people (the last three weeks), calling me to ask who THEY should vote for.
Unreal.
The Lib/Reds are telling the seniors ‘You know the republicans will take your social security for sure’.
Damn, can’t they get a new one already.
Yeah, and I predicted 100+ for the past year when everyone else was predicting Dem wins and predicted both GW wins. No amount of “negative thinking” will make a loss any easier to take either.
Still don’t know why throwing water on a Christine supporter does any good?
Pray for the Election
Tell you what, I’ll offer an olive branch. Name what you’d like me to “bray” in concession if COD does win a close race. If COD wins with under, say, 4 points margin (I know I said ten before but I was exaggerating; and remember, my contention is that R’s lose close elections because of vote-stealing) I’ll consider that I lost the bet and gladly own up to your superior election calling skills ;)
What a great loss that would be for me!! :D
Hey just read your profile page, nice write-up. The wind is at our sails!
Just wanted to let you know that I think you “misspoke” when you wrote King James. Probably should change it to King George.
We followed up w/ a stop @ Jack in the Box for delicious peach iced TEA.
AWESOME!!!
And call me loony, but I think NYS's Senate seats may be in play....
OK, “you’re looney” but I hope you’re right.
“At one polling station in Arlington, Virginia, there has been a steady trickle of voters since 0700, says the BBC’s Claire Bolderson.”
“The area is a staunchly Democratic bastion with a Republican minority, says our correspondent.”
“All of those interviewed said government spending was their main concern, talking about the need for more “fiscal responsibility” in Washington.”
self ping for later
Didn’t realize you were in the area. I’m way North of the city, you?
In all the years I've lived here, and I'm a lifer, I've never seen anything like it...
So would I. Any word on what has transpired since then?
Yeah, I corrected it elsewhere and forgot it was on my profile page still.
The vote is still 0-0 and neither knows what the answer is but when she was down 20 pts 2 wks ago and 5-8 over the weekend, not sure why you should be so sure she is losing. Now we see weak Dem turnout and one of her supporters gets excited so you make a snarky comment. The glass is 1/10th empty routine bugs me.
Who cares if some people get excited on this board or if I am right or you are. We are both wishing for the same thing and until the vote is final neither of us knows for sure. This is going to be big and just a matter of how big.
That said, she will win.
Pray for the election
a miracle in New York ?
from geraghty:
I dont have the exits, but folks I know in the media and political worlds are getting their first glimpses.
Indicator Number One: I am told that one Democratic strategist, helping a television network with Election Night analysis, just declared that the Democrats were experiencing something on par with mass murder. The GOP counterpart looked at the same numbers and concluded the Democrats are, so far, not getting the urban turnout they need; suburban and rural areas are seeing big turnouts.
Indicator Number Two: One Republican who is seeing early indicators in Florida says, if this holds, we win everything.
tell us more on what you saw/heard?
I wish people wouldn't say such things. It just gets my hopes up only to be disappointed when it doesn't materialize.
Wow! WooHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Sure hope I have to eat my earlier words regarding O’Donnell, but not letting myself become optimistic yet.
