Post what you're seeing, hearing in your district, county or state during the day and evening- anecdotal or otherwise!
GOTV!!!!!
RE: Harry Reid.
The Democrats threw everything they could at this race, organizing GOTV efforts way way in advance.
Honestly, while the polls didn’t match this one, I am not ready to say it was stolen for sure.
Maybe, but honestly the GOTV could have done the job.
This one really stings, but a great night for the House.
We came about spot-on what was predicted by many of the prognosticators, at least in the general area.
The dems will claim victory because they were running not against the republicans but Palin. If they damage her clout by beating people she endorsed, they damage her chances in 2012.
The media drumbeat will be “Palin lost”..
Greater Binghamton NY area, a.k.a. the Twilight Zone. (Rod Serling’s boyhood home)Always has been pretty GOP but establishment. The long time Senate Majority Leader (NYS Senate) was from here, but we are gerrymandered along with Ithaca into Maurice Hinchey’s district, can’t get rid of the louse.
Sorry, I turned in early last night and missed all your posts. I was honestly surprised at Flores’ large margin. I didn’t expect that. Glad McLennan County voted for change. I’m confident Flores can represent the area’s vets as well as Chet. Seems that’s all Chet had to run on.
RCP update
House +61 (423 of 435 seats decided)
Looks like the following are still up for grabs
Arizona 7
Arizona 8
Calif 11 (Republican Harmer leads Demo McNerney by 23 votes with 607 of 613 precincts counted - would be a GOP pickup)
Georgia 12
Illinois 8
Kentucky 6
Michigan 9
New York 25
Texas 27
Virginia 11
Washington 2
Washington 9
-George

also if you manipulate this link, you can find all results for a particular state (including state legislative races)

As you no doubt infer, just substitute the name of the state in the appropriate spot and you can zoom to your state. I tried it with a couple other than California and both worked.
Thanks for that link.
I think ultimately, it will be R+64 or R+65 when all the votes are counted.
They’ll win in CA-11, IL-8, TX-27. WA-2 is a tossup.
As much as I detest Barbara Boxer, I think I'm more upset by the Murkowski election. I realize that might not be totally logical thinking, but all the shenanigans Murkowski used were just completely over the top. Also, Joe Miller is someone who would be a real asset in the Senate. Murkowski looks a little crazier every time I see her, and at times her voice sounds a bit like the voice of Helen Thomas. I just think she's a vicious, self-serving, stupid woman.
We've come to expect so little of California. Time and time again they elect the worst of the worst and then wonder why things are so bad. But we expected more of Alaska; and if these numbers hold, Alaska has really let the nation down.
His loss was one of the sweetest moment of the night!
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Let The Congressional Hearings Begin!
I love it:)

sorry to see Van Tran lose...
A lovely sight to behold!
Rush just said 19 state legislatures switch from Dem to Repub. Did I hear that correctly? Wow.
He also said to expect gerrymandering.
