Yesterday, Obama staged a rally at Cleveland State University. Unlike the 2008 era of hopenchange, Obama spoke to an auditorium that had thousands of empty seats. The New York Post notes that event organizers are making excuses for the poor attendance:
Shortly before his election two years ago, Obama drew a crowd of 80,000 in Cleveland.
Organizers of yesterdays event tried to explain away the row after row of unoccupied seats by saying the president was competing with football, church and Halloween parties.
The RNC retorts So were clear, the event started at 3pm. Most church services were over, trick-or-treating hadnt yet started and the Cleveland Browns had a bye week. Theres a simple truth, one the Democrats will do anything not to admit: voters just dont like President Obama and his job-killing agenda.

Yeah, and I heard some people decided to paint a room or two in their houses and needed to watch the paint dry.
“I’m Barack Obama, and I approved this message! Sh*t!!!!”
I think you got an extra zero in there.
They were all still in the hoosegow.
Let me guess—”We didn’t get our message out”?
(aka “You idiots aren’t listening to us!!!!”)
2 of ‘em
FUBO!!!
Three rumors ruined the attendance:
1. ICE would be there to look for illegals.
2. Local police would be there to look for felons.
3. Someone told the union members that they might to actually work handing out leaflets if they attended.
I heard that folks were worried their chips and coke might get cold, and didn’t want to put off eating and drinking... long enough to attend.
Truth be told it was probably something more simple. People probably preferred to clean the house, vacuum, wash the car, or pay bills, to seeing and hearing him.
Except that Lefties don't go to church, the Browns had a bye week and the government gives away treats every day.
He should´ve brought the Greco-Roman columns with him.
After 16 OH visits, or what ever the number was, the POS finally wore out his welcome. People were tired of hearing the same lies over and over.
They had a flat tire.
They didn't have enough money for cab fare.
Their tuxes didn't come back from the cleaners.
Old friends came in from out of town.
Someone stole their car.
There was an earthquake, a terrible flood, locusts....
For far too long, the “silent majority” of American conservatives have been quiet, not quite willing to believe that the other side had an agenda. They wanted to believe that they were well-intentioned, but that their political philosphy was just different.
Freepers knew all along, but now this silent majority sees the truth. We see the election fraud, we see the deviousness of Obama and Pelosi as they ram thru their programs. We see Obama, who promised a new era of bipartisanship, as the liar who he is - on Day One he refused any compromise on the “stimulus,” haughtily declaring “We won.”
We see the blame shifting, the finger pointing, the demonization of any and all who dare disagree with The One. We see the incompetence, on a daily basis, the unprofessionalism, of The “Dude.” We see the hypocrisy of the far left anti-war agitators, who have suddenly gone silent. We see a complicit main stream media, and the demonization of any media outlets who dare to not toe the (absurd) Obama Party Line. We see the arrogance, the utter contempt that Obama, Schumer (”the chattewing masses don’t caaare about a wittle pork....”), Pelosi and others have for average Americans, who The Kenyan says are “frightened and acting irrationally.” We see the laziness, the vacations, the constant golf outings, while The One tells the rest of us we must sacrifice.
Time to send a message to these arrogant fools who think they are so smart and superior....
What if 0bummer gave a rally and only a few hecklers came? Coming next.
Normal people are tired of being lectured to and called OWeBama’s enemy. The others showed up to his latest condescending lecture.
... and their dog ate their invitation.
Was one of the excuses “Obama sucks and people don’t like him.”?
That would not be an excuse, it would be a REASON.
