You cited the synod itself as saying: “The Holy Scriptures cannot be used to justify the return of Jews to Israel and the displacement of the Palestinians, to justify the occupation by Israel of Palestinian lands,”

You then conclude:

They hate us either way- might as well support Israel. Too bad the lesson will be lost on most- including the Vatican.

The synod was put on by Middle Eastern Christians, including Palestinians. Many Westerners support Israel for geopolitical reasons, but why should you expect Palestinian Christians to support their own displacement?
