MENLO PARK, Calif.—Republican Carly Fiorina said Friday she would be a like-minded colleague of Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein if she unseats Sen. Barbara Boxer next week, drawing sharp responses from both Democratic senators as they appeared together at a campaign stop.
"We agree on more issues," Fiorina said in describing views she shares with Feinstein on water issues, trade and national security.
"On a whole host of issues, Dianne Feinstein and I, I am quite sure, will be very productive colleagues," Fiorina said during a campaign stop with female supporters at the Sugar Shack candy store in the Silicon Valley city of Menlo Park as the race enters its final weekend. "The record is crystal clear on where Barbara Boxer has been."

Sounds like a ‘McCain moment’...bad move, bad politics. If there are no differences, why change your vote? Voters want to see the same decisive conservative difference they wanted last election, ‘cause they know things are broke along with the treasuries.
Actually, at this point, I don’t care if she says she agrees with Joseph Stalin as long as it will help her beat Boxer. I know that’s heresy, but we have to get Boxer out of there. She is thoroughly poisonous.
Carly was trying to contrast herself with Boxer, who does not work well with Feinstein or, in fact, any other Senator.

As far as I know Feinstein has generally play straight up on NS. But who knows what goes on behind closed doors.

Boxer is the hard left wing of democrat party.
Feinstein is center left. If Fiorina is center right,
she is exactly right about being on the same side as
Feinstein on many issues.

Acting like a Democrat does not endear oneself to conservatives.
If she shares Feinstein’s positions on immigration, the DREAM Act, DADT, more unemployment, “green” corporate welfare, etc., then she shouldn’t call herself a Republican. I’m pretty sick of watching the advertisement of how she will cross “her party” “when they are wrong.” The problem is, SHE is the one that is wrong on the issues that she has veered left.
I don’t think Republicans/Conservatives will vote for Boxer — but they sure aren’t motivated to go vote FOR anything.
I agree, but I believe Carley was saying she agreed with a few issues that Feinstein does....I believe they are very small issues that are not even totally important.
This is another nightmare brought to you by John Cornyn. Larry Elder would have had this race locked up by now.
