Looks like Pence had indeed been making plans to run for Governor, and has already taken a few important steps. He is helping state office holders, touring the state campaigning, and building a statewide machine in IN.

Pence would make an excellent Governor, and would be setting himself up for even greater things by winning this office and performing well. I hope he runs and wins.
