So, you've experienced the “transformation” of a family member? Sorry to hear that.
I suppose she was easy pickings; she was no where near as passionate about Republican as the rest of family is. She can wallow in her misery next week (hehehe...)!
On to victory!!!
No loss, really. My dad is a wonderful man, but he's pretty clueless about the basic differences between the two major parties. His political education consists mostly of liberal Democrat talking points and indoctrination. He doesn't have a clue what conservatives and the Republican party really stand for.
The only person in my family who's really transformed, is me. In the entire clan, I'm the sole conservative (although I do have one brother who votes straight R). The rest are all liberals of varying degrees.
I've long passed the point of my political isolation in the family being a bother to me. I think I stopped being bothering by it about a week after I first escaped the Democrat plantation. LOL
I sincerely hope they were all watching 60 Minutes last night, when they ran the report about the real unemployment numbers. They're all in California, where the real unemployment number is 22%. They've got to know that this is the result of the Hope & Change they voted for.
I can only imagine how bummed they're all going to be next Tuesday.
