If the Democrats get the drubbing that's expected on Nov. 2, you can bet there will be a lot of secret meetings with party bigwigs and the Clintons. A strategy will have to be developed which gets Obama out of the way for 2012 but doesn't alienate minorities, who still view Obama as the Messiah.

They can't allow Obama to run in 2012. He will lose badly and take the rest of the party down with him.

Randita, I believe you just deconstructed the mystery behind this 60 Minutes report. I don't know why I didn't see it right away.

I think you're absolutely correct. The movers and shakers behind the scenes have seen Obama's handwriting on the wall, and they don't like it one bit. They gave The Lightworker a chance, and he's burning their carefully constructed house of cards to the ground.

They will not let him drag them all down with him, so they're about to unleash the dogs of hell on him. I'm sure that this is abundantly clear in the White House tonight.

It now becomes even clearer why so many of Obama's key team members have already bailed on him. They saw this coming.

Yup. I was surprised to see Emanuel leave BEFORE the election. Things must have been really bad and there have been reports here and there over the past year that Obama is not taking Emanuel's advice about moderating and taking things slowly rather than full bore. The Chicago mayor thing was a convenient excuse. No reason he couldn't have explored a run for mayor while still being in the WH.

Hillary will resign in a few months, There are already reports to that effect. The election loss cannot be blamed on her as she is not a political strategist for Obama and foreign policy is last on the list of voter concerns this time around. Being loyal to Obama will win her brownie points should she be looking to take the next step. She is loyal to say nothing else about her.

It's reported Axelrod is moving on as well.

Obama will not go willingly or easily. He's a divider and his last refuge will be cloaking himself as a minority, surrounding himself with minorities and claiming all against him are racists.

The preferred strategy to get him out of the way will be to target him in such a way that it can be blamed on Republicans-(birth certificate challenge). The GOP has to be extra careful not to get played for fools.

Once the take out Obama plan starts to gel, I will be interested in hearing Bernie Goldberg's take on it.

Here’s another thing. When the GOP lost the House in 2006, Hastert shouldered the blame and resigned gracefully rather than cast aspersions at Bush. Will Pelosi do the same? She is not gracious and I can’t see her slinking off. If she senses Obama is going to be jettisoned, I think she will pile on and fight to rescue her reputation.
