The knives are out for Christiane Amanpour at ABC News' DC bureau. Since the ex-CNN war correspondent began anchoring "This Week" in August, she's upset some co-workers "Amanpour flies into Washington on Friday and anchors the show on Sunday," an insider griped. "She reads about Washington from her Central Park apartment. It's not like other war zones that you can parachute into. She is very cold and distant with the other bureau staff." Some resent Amanpour's friendship with Disney honcho Bob Iger and his wife, Willow Bay. Disney owns ABC. Other staffers gripe that despite her reputation

Actually, the farther away from the DC coctail circut the better off you are, though Central Park is about the same.
Those who are complaining about Christiane Amanpour being “cold” don’t seem to have any problem with her one-sided, pro-Muslim, non-factual reporting. They are only upset because she got the big job for the big bucks with lots of perks. They could give a hoot about journalistic integrity.
I often find that people who have a great deal of difficulty relating to other people, understanding them and feeling empathy, are often drawn to the left. Sort of the old “love the people in general, hate them in particular” syndrome.
Gives her joy???? OMG!
It could have been inspired by the 1993 WTC bombing, the conflagration chimneying up to the top. But even if it purely coincidental, a New Yorker would instantly be horrified the moment it was recognized or pointed out. And if not personally outraged, then sensitive enough to ones houseguests that it be moved to the summer home or perhaps the proposed ground zero mosque.
I think these people ( we are talking the extreme ones) are totally devoid of love; whether it be their pets, children, country, or god.
Her interview with Meghan McCain was great journalism. /s
Amanpour was born in Iran according to some sources[2][3][4][5] or in London, England according to others[6] to her father, Mohammad, an Iranian airline executive and her British mother, Patricia.[7] The Amanpours led a privileged life under the government of the Shah of Iran. She completed her primary education in Iran and at the age of 11, her parents sent her to boarding school in England. She attended and graduated from an all-girls school, New Hall School in Chelmsford, Essex, England. Christiane returned to England not long after the Islamic Revolution began. She stressed that they were not forced to leave but rather when they were returning, Iraq invaded Iran and so they stayed and after a while it just became difficult to return to Iran.[8]

Perhaps the painting was the artist’s impression of what the 1993 World Trade Center bombing - was supposed to accomplish. Or just his wish list!!!!
Ouchie. Mimi gets a fair-and-balanced hearing. Did Drudge ever link the article as one of the posters suggested?
This one was described as being one of Farideh Lashai's recent works. And we are suppose to believe it's just an abstract of a tree?
Are you saying this woman has a painting of the World Trade Center burning in her apartment!?!
Scroll down for the photos, jmacusa.
There is nothing abstract about what this image is supposed to represent.
NOTHING
I just did. I commuted thorough The Trade Center(as new Yorkers always called it) for years. In the ‘80’s I worked across the street from it when Battery Park City was being built. I recognize the imagery instantly. It’s unmistakable. Another reason to hate this Saracen bitch.
A tree with a squared trunk. Right. That's some abstraction.
And if it gives its owner soooo much joy everytime she sees it...I am curious...what exactly does she thinks it represents?
Unbelievable. You wonder how these places manage to put out a product 24/7. Then again, how many of them are objective enough to work at Fox News and why would staying at ABC be preferable to that?
So the “War Slut” isn’t going over so well with the Beltway crowd?
