To: Alas Babylon!

I tell you what yon ladies and gems.

Now they’re trying to pin the possible loss of Toumi in Pa on CHRISTINE O’DONNELL!!

Here’s the story on COD....there’ve been no polls published about her recently. Last poll reported was Coons over COD by 11%, this about three weeks ago.

They’re winning this race folks. They’ve managed to paint COD as a kook and by me the total lack of support, even if moral, by the Blue Blood ruling Class GOP is as much part of the shame as anything.

Every time you watch a show, doesn’t matter if the so-called political “expert” is Karl Rove or Joe Bloe part time trash collector, part time prognosticator from Podunk, when asked about the COD race they mutter...”no way”, “Not possible”....and I wonder...WHAT THE HELL DO THEY KNOW?

And this Coons guy is as far left as they come. The GOP could have made him into EXACTLY the type of Dem we need to kick out.

It hasn’t helped that COD’s had a lackluster campaign with even SHE admitting on TV that the initial witch ad was a mistake. Which it was.

See, if somebody in the upper echelons of that entrenched Washington DC bunch cared, they’d have given a hand. The guy running her campaign is the same guy who ran the political campaign of that nerd going up against Scuzzifuzzi in NY. And we know how that race turned out.

I’ll tell you what’s going to happen. The Blue Blood GOP has had great fun mocking this race, painting this candidate as a far out nut job elected by a bunch of loopy voters. It’s not true, I know Christine, I want to cry at how unfairly, if only tacitly, she’s been treated by her own party.

I predict that Coons will win this race, but the margin will be surprisingly small. I think Coons will beat her by 4...tops 5....points. Nowhere near the 30% they smirk and say is the current prediction.

And this is a race that well could have been won. All across the fruited plains there will probably be races, plenty of them, coming within that 4% range. The difference will be that COD will have suffered way more dings, slams and jabs, including those who voted for her, than the others in these same marginal races as I describe.

THe Dems will have had a couple of months of mocking a candidate who knows more about the constitution than her opponent ever knew. No one defended her in the mighty GOP.

That’s because they’d rather lose this race than have COD in the senate with them.

Really sad.

When the women of Delaware have to cut back on toys and treats for their kids because of 'skyrocketing utility rates', and the women of Delaware have to listen to their children screaming in pain for hour after hour at the ER thanks to 'ObamaCare'; then perhaps they will FINALLY get it.

No pity here, dimwits. I just resent like hell you twits putting a godless creep like Coons into office. That goes for you too, Rove.

On FNC this morning Toomey denied knowing or ever meeting COD.

And he lives next door to DE.
What a coward!

Thank you for your very informative post. Being an optimist, I’m hoping and praying COD pulls this out, just like Scott Brown did when he was behind in the polls before his election. I think it’s a bit strange that no polls have been released for 3 weeks, especially given it’s a race of huge interest. It’s also interesting to me that Bambi & Biden have been there a few times - I’ve read the theories: they want to keep Biden’s old seat, if they can win this race, they ‘damage’ Sarah, the polls are way behind and they’re fighting for this seat, they know the seat is safe and can say, ‘See, Obama still has star power and helped to win this election’, yada, yada, blah, blah, blah.

They’re now going after Joe Miller:
Note that this is a retired judge, appointed by Lisa’s daddy, and the hearing was done on Saturday. Given the judge’s *reasoning* on the ruling, then Obama should have released his records long ago (fat chance of that happening any time soon/ever):

Judge orders Miller documents released

Hey Fish, I'm not there and don't have near the insight you have but I'm not ready to throw in the towel. the DNC has to be looking at the primary where few on the left bothers to vote and are now asking themselves will it change? Hard to tell. They can only beat Christine if they show up.Will they?

I say back COD all the way.

We have always had the Koons as a bearded Marxist argument and still do. The fact that she has had her share of problems and had to face adversity, made mistakes, almost makes her more Reaganesque than before and deserves our support even more, IMHO. I say the polls are all spiked and that's why they had to have all the top rats come into her area while our guys like roving rove take her to task.

The Republican Party should be ashamed at the way they have mishandled this race and others.

I say the end result even if she does lose, is that Rove will be out long term and she will be in.

But as I said I'm not ready to give in. I'm sure you aren't as well.

Don’t you think her vindication on the ‘Separation of church and state’ issue helped her.

A crowd of wannabe lawyers laughing at you doesn’t mean you’re stupid, sometimes it means THEY are.

I see the church and state thing mentioned everywhere, like on Facebook. People are getting an education on this matter and it turns out she was right.

Don’t give up Fish, this is much closer than you think. The commercials are just coming up and she came from farther behind than this in the primary.

Pray for the Election

Fish, send my post to Christine. It may inspire her and have her explain to DE this is what she will go do as opposed to those brainwashed lawyers at the liberal law school.

She is a bright woman who will make a difference.

Pray for the Election

“They’re winning this race folks. They’ve managed to paint COD as a kook”

You are so right, Fishtalk. They’ve managed to take us off our game in a number of races by describing the conservative as an extreme or a kook.

I realize that it’s difficult not to take the bait because it’s only natural to immediately defend oneself against their ridiculous charges.

However, our response should always be: Stop trying to change the subject! Your party is in its current situation because you are destroying this nation with your extremist policies that you are ramming through over the wishes of the American people. And BTW, stop insulting the intelligence of the voters. They see clearly what’s happening here.

If a candidate defends the voters and stands up for them, I believe the voters will rally behind the candidate. If a candidate allows the the focus to turn to the candidate, he or she runs the risk of making the voters feel shafted once again. Yes, one needs to respond briefly to some of the allegations of the Dems; but never, ever let them hijack the the discussion of what the election is really about. Unfortunately we see that happening a lot lately.
