On FOX, Wallace asks Manchin, D-Sen Candidate what he disagrees with obama on. Manchin says - cap’n-trade; on health care Manchin disagrees with the new 1099 requirements, there aren’t enough firewalls to protect against funding abortion.

Wallace asks what changed, since Manchin was for the health care bill earlier in the year. Manchin defends his latest position saying we need to fix the current HC reform bill (ya, right! he read a few polls after the HC bill passage.)

I think its a mistake to underestimate what you and others do here. This site/our thread is followed big time. The wisdom of you and many others is what makes it so great.

I tell you what yon ladies and gems.

Now they’re trying to pin the possible loss of Toumi in Pa on CHRISTINE O’DONNELL!!

Here’s the story on COD....there’ve been no polls published about her recently. Last poll reported was Coons over COD by 11%, this about three weeks ago.

They’re winning this race folks. They’ve managed to paint COD as a kook and by me the total lack of support, even if moral, by the Blue Blood ruling Class GOP is as much part of the shame as anything.

Every time you watch a show, doesn’t matter if the so-called political “expert” is Karl Rove or Joe Bloe part time trash collector, part time prognosticator from Podunk, when asked about the COD race they mutter...”no way”, “Not possible”....and I wonder...WHAT THE HELL DO THEY KNOW?

And this Coons guy is as far left as they come. The GOP could have made him into EXACTLY the type of Dem we need to kick out.

It hasn’t helped that COD’s had a lackluster campaign with even SHE admitting on TV that the initial witch ad was a mistake. Which it was.

See, if somebody in the upper echelons of that entrenched Washington DC bunch cared, they’d have given a hand. The guy running her campaign is the same guy who ran the political campaign of that nerd going up against Scuzzifuzzi in NY. And we know how that race turned out.

I’ll tell you what’s going to happen. The Blue Blood GOP has had great fun mocking this race, painting this candidate as a far out nut job elected by a bunch of loopy voters. It’s not true, I know Christine, I want to cry at how unfairly, if only tacitly, she’s been treated by her own party.

I predict that Coons will win this race, but the margin will be surprisingly small. I think Coons will beat her by 4...tops 5....points. Nowhere near the 30% they smirk and say is the current prediction.

And this is a race that well could have been won. All across the fruited plains there will probably be races, plenty of them, coming within that 4% range. The difference will be that COD will have suffered way more dings, slams and jabs, including those who voted for her, than the others in these same marginal races as I describe.

THe Dems will have had a couple of months of mocking a candidate who knows more about the constitution than her opponent ever knew. No one defended her in the mighty GOP.

That’s because they’d rather lose this race than have COD in the senate with them.

Really sad.

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Joe Manchin, Democratic nominee for Senate in West Virginia.

Manchin says he’s pro-life, reminds me of the NRA endorsement of Democrats, the party of the unconstitutional Health sCare bill will protect the second amendment? Not! A whole bunch of dupes...

He ended his comments to Chris Wallace with a “between he and I.”

AAAAAAGHHHHH!!!!

If he cannot speak proper English, why does he think he is smart enough to make laws that affect all of us.

When the women of Delaware have to cut back on toys and treats for their kids because of 'skyrocketing utility rates', and the women of Delaware have to listen to their children screaming in pain for hour after hour at the ER thanks to 'ObamaCare'; then perhaps they will FINALLY get it.

No pity here, dimwits. I just resent like hell you twits putting a godless creep like Coons into office. That goes for you too, Rove.

Great post, bray!

The road from Boston Harbor to Yorktown took eight long years of agonizing struggle against overwhelming odds and the American patriots lost most of the battles along the way - with the exceptions of the most crucial ones.

The upcoming battle on November 2nd is one if our crucial battles. There are many, many more to follow and they must be won for our republic to survive.

I’m replying ......... put me on it. This is my only source, other than Rush and FR, for what’s going on in the MSM. After Zero was announced the presidential winner, I disconnected my cable TV service and haven’t looked back since. I have not missed it one bit and really, really appreciate your taking the time to faithfully start this thread every Sunday. THANK YOU for your time and effort. :O)

Funny you should mention George III. Last week I was in London and happened to see the Coronation Coach at the Royal Mews.

Those of you who have seen this coach (also used for some other state occasions) will have seen a large, heavily carved and gilded coach in which Queen Elizabeth rides to the Opening of parliament and other functions.

The coach was built for George III, when Britain’s power was rising. It is themed “the Emperor of the Seas” and has numerous carved figures of Neptune with Trident, fish, etc.

Bray’s essay reminded me that while George III was riding in this super-opulent carriage, a force was rising in north America which would end up having more power than the King of England.

And the heirs of those people are still fighting for freedom today. So do not let yourselves get discouraged by RINO’s, Eeyore’s pretending to be concerned Republicans (Florida Sunshine I am talking to you) or the perfidy of some in the GOP establishment.

To bowwow the phrase of an old war horse, we are in for a long, hard slog. We must stay the course and not let ourselves be distracted. Press on!
