I took at look at DU to get their take on the situation. They were pleased that he was fired. Way to support censorship DU! The one person that was against them was of course accused of being a Freeper.
DU is too radical to be taken seriously. I go to Harmony-Central. They have some pretty strong liberals there, and some are as rabid as the people at DU. However, it is difficult to get banned from Harmony-central, so it is not a liberal circle jerk. That is, they don’t just feed on each other as easily as they do at DU.
Maybe that is why even the rabid liberals there think NPR was wrong. They would look like fools to their more “thoughtful” liberal peers. I didn’t find a single person on the thread that thought NPR was correct.
