I think you are correct. sure, the 'rats will cheat. But I do not think Axelrod seriously expects his prediction to come true. But you can't expect him to say "we're gonna get creamed". Nobody says that; even if it is true.
Check out comments on Yahoo news stories. The outrage against the Obama machine is hugh. Cheating has its limitations and not going to pull it off for the dims. The sheeple are awake.
Exactly. This isn't Axelrod saying they are going to cheat to a win (although they will give it a good college try)...this is Axelrod saying "HEY...Keep that money rolling in!!! and HEY BASE...come out and VOTE!!! PLEASE?!?!!"
If He, Obama, Reid, Pelosi...et.al...were to actually admit to what they know is coming...it would be worse for them. Their base would REALLY stay home...and the funds would be dried up so fast they would lose 120 seat if not more.
