That’s right. If they’d been thinking clearly, the Dems would never have been elected in the first place.
Now we know what he thinks of the stupid people who voted for him the first time.
This time, he isn’t lying.
I think he is saying that DEMS are not AMERICANS and therefore dependent on how clearly AMERICANS think.
“Part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now, and facts and science and argument do not seem to be winning the day all the time, is because we’re hard-wired not to always think clearly when we’re scared,””
Oh, I see....so the brilliance and anaytical insight of “hope and change” and “yes we can” is no longer winning because we’re scared. How did such a lightweight and obvious fool ever make it to this point? Like the Czech newspaper said, what’s scary is not that this prince of fools is in power but rather there were enough fools to elect him.
I believe I recall that people were scared in 2008 when the housing market collapsed, and the banking system imploded. They panicked and voted for the donkey from Shrek, only to discover that he talked too much and everything he did and said made things worse. So now people aren’t scared anymore. They’ve thought it out, and decided that the donkey is the problem, not the solution. So out he goes. Whatever the solution really is, part of it is getting rid of the donkey. Especially when he sounds so condescending and stupid both at the same time.
