I have to disagree with the belief that Obama and his fellow travelers are Marxist. The Washington Times correctly ID'ed Obama's policies as corporatist.

"From the outset, Mr. Obama's goal was to erect a corporatist social democracy - the fusion of big government, big labor and big business."

Marxist, fascist, corporatist...all statists. Whatever you want to call them, on a spectrum with totalitarianism on the far left and anarchy on the far right, they reside well left of center.
