I think she was trying to think of something other than Roe to say; and sort of panicked.
She did properly analyze Roe, though, which is far more than most people are capable of, but she’s made Coons’ day with that clip.

The supreme court question was a set-up question. Coons has a premeditated answer concerning the rights of corporations to enjoy the same freedom of speech as other entities. He has his canned answer. Had he gone first, she could have easily rebutted his answer by asking why unions weren’t being held to the same standard. Liberals think that unions are individuals while corporations are not.
